Return to the highest rated NWN2 PW with all new features and an expanded game world. Roleplay characters in authentic historically focused th century setting that draws on Arthurian and Celtic myths. One of the best PWs I've ever played on. The mechanics are PHENOMENAL! Really friendly staff, lots of great people, and lots of attention not only to detail, but to each and every player character. This server is a true gem.

This has been, by a fairly significant margin, my favorite game!
Admittedly, I am pretty new to online games like this, however I find this to be a fun, interesting world populated by super fun and very nice people!
The maturity and helpfulness of this community cannot be stressed enough!
Fantastic place to play and have fun and I would recommend it to anyone!!!!!!!

Dear Mclovin,
My apologies to any disrespect you felt and my thanks for your revised comment. You were booted in ban because (1) you had logged on in the days before and been told to change your name and didn't and (2) because at the time I was running a server-wide event for most of our active players that was one of the more climactic moments of the entire server's history, I felt a day's ban, in light of #1, was a better solution than me stopping the event in progress to deal with you.
You are of course welcome to play, as indicated by my unbanning you the next day. Thank you for this, probably the most random comments/ratings on our vault page. I will always remember you Mclovin.

It appears that the fault is my own and I want to take back any negative attitude towards the DM's at Dark Age. Thank you to Psionic-entity for helping me with this as well. I am rating this a definite 10 as it deserves it. Note for others: choose your name carefully lol.
extra note on the gameplay: I especially love this server due to the fact that it draws away from the usual classes and backgrounds and kinda creates a whole new gaming adventure in itself. a must have. played a few servers and this one seems more promising that most.

So far I am just posting a comment...
I am very disappointed with the DM in this server. I'll admit the game looks good as far as I saw. (I was so intrigued that I bought 2 copies of the game for my brothers to play online with me). So today i log in and notice a lot of pauses, not so uncommon. Sometimes pauses happen. I notice the lag on my game and inquire the DM if everything is okay.... as usual for DM's i dont get a response. So i wait.. get booted.. log on again... get booted... log on again.. ask the DM what i did wrong... get booted.... finally log on again.. he tells me to change my name. My name was Willie (short for William) McLovin.. yeah i noticed the humor, but i was going for an irish/British name. So after I take notice that my name needs to be changed.. i get banned. maybe 30 seconds after him telling me to change my name! Thats not enough time for me to process it and exit the game. I tell my brothers to hold on while I change my character.. and bam, im banned. My brother writes the DM asking him for permission to unban. He says hes busy............ too busy to unban me but not buys enough to repeatedly boot me over and over then ban me. Troy I love the work of this module, by far the best. but is this the kind of treatment we get as players??? Or was I just singled out in this, very disrupted by this. Im no teenager, im an adult so i can understand that my name needed to be changed.. but the actions taken against me i would consider immature and ill mannered.

I don't think that there are many words that can describe the server, other than simply awsome. There is a very friendly community of players and staff, who at least respond to you if you pm them. For the person above, I suggest PMing a DM on the forum. Really, the forum is the key tool for truely experianceing the server. And sometimes, other players can make some more fun than a DM can do, so go out and rp your character.
Very varried characters, events, and locations, active player and DM base, and overall quality earns Legacy a solid 15, but 10's the highest the voting goes, so...

Death to the Vancian spellcasting system. Up with spellpoints.
E8 is also pretty neat for keeping people generally on an even playing field.

Great playerbase, encouraging and supportive DM's. Plotlines are based heavily upon player initiative and you get out of your RP exactly what you put into it. Best PW I have ever played on.

Have been playing on the server for a little bit of time now, and wanted to wait before casting my vote. This server is truly something special. I've never seen anything like it in NWN2. It blends a great player base, with engaging DM's, and a great design team. Well done!

Dnh- Don't be a grumpy goose! You can't expect a DM to drop what he is doing, especially on a DM intesive server, to service your particular (and probably vast) needs. RP more, complain less. Server is great for people who like solid RP and PvP opportunity. PvE is great as well and encourages parties. If you were left out, it's entirely your fault. _________________________

This is one hell of a PW that is unique beyond most and there is zero DM railroading as far as I can tell.
If a player performs an action it will be realized in the fullest both the pros and cons.
Wanna create a faction/guild? do it! and its done!
wanna start a bunch of (RP) crap in town with other players! Do it and get rewarded or pay the consequences of your actions!

To elaborate, I am universally impressed with this PW. The custom content (from the unique spell system to the new classes) is of an extremely high standard and is integrated almost flawlessly into the game. The areas are of high quality and there is good use of custom content from the broader NWN2 community.

Though, I've long ago fallen off of the face of the earth, and not likely to fall back any time soon, it's still good to see this server and its community persist.
I'm also glad to see one of my areas(the panthenon), with a few alterations, continue into this server and presented as a highlight screen-shot. If boost to morale if nothing else.

Pros:
- Good lore.
- Lots of cool custom content.
- Awesome spellcasting and custom combat system.
- Group-oriented exploration. Nothing can be done on one's own.
- Roleplay XP ticker (really, every server should have one).
Cons:
- The hypocrisy of ignorant arrogance that both staff and playerbase alike seem to have:
DM: "show more initiative!"
Hardcore player: "yeah, the DMs love to help if you show initiative!"
*new player proceeds to show initiative and wants to start on his journey to greatness!*
DM: "oops! sorry I'm busy with this here faction, remind me later!"
hardcore player: "yeah wait your turn!"
*patiently waits an hour and a half before proceeding to message the DM again*
DM: "hey sorry I can't right now I'm doing something else with the same people! later, I promise!"
*patiently waits another hour before asking again*
DM: "oh, haha! look at the time, gotta jet! send me a pm on the forums or on chat maybe!"
*ಠ_ಠ*
*...*
*proceeds to send PM. gets ignored (no response whatsoever). read forums:*
DM: "show more initiative!"
Rinse and repeat this whole process. Not even joking, this has happened to me twice.
Giving it a 6++, because eventhough my experience as a player has been rather disheartening, the staff has otherwise made a spectacular server and I respect the work they've put in it.

Was a player for quite a bit and it was great. Then I became a DM because there weren't many DMs on my timezone. Server's pretty cool, everyone is chill and there's no drama. The setting is interesting and the custom classes do the job.
