Important Note About Versions: Due to a peculiarity with older versions of the game, versions of TCC from 1.03 forward will produce unexpected results when used with versions of the game prior to 1.03. To accommodate users who dont wish to upgrade the game to version 1.03 or later, TCC version 1.02 is available below. Note that the version 1.02 will not be updated, so upgrading your game to the latest version is strongly recommended.
Important Note On Installation: If you are upgrading from version 1.05 or earlier to version 1.06 or later, it is important that you delete the files from the previous version of TCC. The file structure has been changed, and some outdated files have been eliminated. If you do not delete the old files you can expect some features to produce unexpected results, or not work at all.
Players with the Mask of The Betrayer expansion pack should check out Offkorn's Patch for TCC, which updates it to support the crafting system in the expansion pack.
And it's official, spammers suck. But regarding TCC, I found some limitations in what you can put "universal" enchantments on - for instance, I wasn't able to add a limited Cure Critical Wounds ability to a Periapt of Wisdom (was going for a cleric item). Also, I wasn't able to put a modest +1 AC on a helmet, because it's "not armor".
Is there any documentation on what can/can't be enchanted with what? Thanks for any help!

Beautifully made, using it in Europa and my players are loving it! It gives bonuses where skills should and finally alchemy has a use! Although it may create a slightly unbalanced environment, that can be adjusted by any builder by simply raising the diff level of the module and adding more perils. Besides, there is ALWAYS a way around fancy gear!
Erik.
In the 'Transmuting materials' section in the help file you mension that "..in time it will be expanded to allow the transmutation of non-metal materials..", I would _absolutely_ LOVE to have the abillity to transmute gems as well!!!! 8D¨
I love that you are able to salvage essences and gems from magical items! If I may wish for an addition to the salvageing system, it would be the abillity to salvage materials as well (at least metals). =)
Out of curiosity does this work with Kaedrin's PRC Pack?

Hello,
I have tested the mod and I have seen two small problems with it.
1) The recipes Require good and require lawfull don't work when cast by a warlock (feat Imbue Item).
2) With a master work mithral heavy Shield, if you cast (level 20) the 3 resists bludgeoning / Slashing / piercing(with Offkorn's patch for MOTB), you can not cast the require good / Lawful spell. It says you that the shield can not be further enchanted.
When you first cast the Require good / Lawful, you can cast the 3 resists and the Enhancement +5 (4 enchantments).
Also, I can't see a vorpal enchantment. Does it exist? or is there a plan to make one?
My attempts to modify crafting the way I needed/wanted have failed after 5 hours of work on the v113 TCC scripts.
My request for new features is Builders Control of how many items Alchemy produces (Alchemist Fire, Choking Powder, ect), and how many potions Potion Brewing makes. As these to just are not worth it in one packs. The expense and the item crafted.

I love this hakpak. Like Baradar67, I can't craft without this. Most definitely a 10.
ChainsawXIV, is there any chance that you could convert the help file to a format other than Windows help file? Since I am running NWN2 on a Mac, I (as well as other Mac users of the community) would really appreciate it if you could make the documentation available to us.

Thought I would vote finally. I've used this since early last year and wouldn't craft without it. I call it groundbreaking as it adds and/or removes so much as required. I've spent the last two weeks working on the scripts and recipes so I know what Chainsaw put into this.
sardoniks - I've done the same, dex bonus was already applying of course... doh!
Possible Bug Report: All of the armors I've made with this hak don't seem to be giving a Dex bonus. For instance, a Masterwork Chain Shirt +3 adds only 7 points to AC, no matter the DEX of the person wearing it. Pretty irregular. _________________________ The appearance of sincerity counts for more than actual truthfulness. -Morley Dotes
Looking into using this on our PW. Any thoughts on creating this into haks for PWs? I could just import all the scripts into the mod, but the 2da files I don't know how to handle yet, nor how to make HAK files myself.

@Reeron,
I just wandered by to see if someone had taken up the challenge of converting TCC for MOTB. However, if you haven't already had answers to your questions:
1. Yes (in the Academy)
2. Yes to both though there are no base materials to grind into essences (just lots of spirits)
3. Moulds are available in the original city

Hey there great Mod Chainsaw, I have a bug though... I've been trying to enchant my spear with the Greater Dispel Magic Proc (DC20), but when I get all the items on the magicians workbench and cast the spell, it tells me that the item recipe is invalid. Aniway good work, and please make this great mod compatible with the MotB expansion. _________________________ -------------Role Player since 1997-------------

Hello everyone, I find this mod to be perfect for anyone intrested in crafting, but there is a problem. The mod changes the auto-arrange of items in a way that is very confusing. What file do I have to delete to stop that from happening? _________________________ -------------Role Player since 1997-------------

thx chainsawIX for this hakpack...started the game again with crafting focus and love this (was using it before too, but I was past the feats I needed to be good at crafting so I started again)
what is the latest update confirmed to work properly? I had few problems installing it, finally got it working via the override folder and updated to 1.11.1153 and found out that although it seems to work one of my crafted items disappeared after loading the game. I made an full plate +5 armor with reduce arcane spell failure -40% so sand can wear it (also enchanted his greater boots of tumbling to h.armor feat) and when I saved the game before leaving the keep I found out later that the armor disappeared after loading this save. The boots remained on him, same as the Khelgars Full plate I enchanted to +5. What is the version I should go for? I don't need the MotB addon, just want TCC to work so I can finish the OC.

This is an excellent upgrade for the crafting in NWN2.
Will this be updated to the new patch release anytime soon?

1) Besides the first city (Mulsantir I believe), are there any other crafting stations throughout the game (Alchemy table, Magician's workbench, Blacksmith's workbench)?
2) Can you get the mortar & pestle and the smith's hammer in MoTB (so you can use the recipes from the TCC)? I know the essences changed from elemental essences to spirit essences, but you can get elemental essences from salvaging, so if the mortar & pestle and smith's hammer are available, then the original recipes can still be used.
3) Can you get regular molds (Full-plate mold, crossbow mold, heavy shield mold, etc....) in MoTB, or are you limited to buying already made items?
I have other questions, but I'll wait until those 3 are answered before posting more. By the way, I'm not asking these questions for my personal game-playing reasons (I'm not looking to use the "original TCC" in MoTB).
Anyone try this with MotB? Can you install it, craft some items, then uninstall it? Will the items still work?

Does anyone know if this mod will allow the creation and enchantment of Throwing Axes made out of special materials like adamantine, and if they work properly against damage reduction? I really want to play a Stormlord who specializes in Throwing Axes!

Just a quick note to thank ChainsawXIV for all the hard work and to let everybody know that I have played MOTB with the complete craftsman and it seems to work fine.

Another vote from a fan (with no modding skills) to thank Chainsaw for all the hard work and for someone to take up the mantle and update MOTB to make it TCC compatible.

ChainsawXIV, do you think you could compile all the relevant files in this system into an easily importable .ERF pack for the toolset? That would make it easier for any potential overtakers to import the files into the toolset to analyze them.
