8 Rural Watchtowers, tintable Rural Fort Walls and Wooden Defence Spikes.
The Watchtowers have climbable stairs or a ladder.
The tintable Rural Fort Walls have an older, more weathered look than the original Obsidian models.
This hak includes alternative Rural Fort Walls that are variants of the original Obsidian models. The rear support posts have been removed to enable a cleaner walkmesh. The new walls can be used in combination with BTH Watchtower 04 or 05 to create an archers tower, perfect for defending a rampart wall.
Watchtowers 06, 07, 08 & 09 are platforms designed to integrate with the Rural Fort Walls.
The hak includes custom walkmesh helpers designed to add flexibility to the positioning of the towers and assist the builder to obtain an optimum walkmesh bake. Refer to the readme file.
The rar file includes the hak, the palette entries for the Rural Defence Pack placeables and a readme file with a step by step guide on using the watchtower walkmesh helpers.
Please be aware that the BTH Watchtower models available in the 3C combo hak are significantly out of date. Builders using the 3C placeable hak are advised to update both the BTH Watchtowers and BTH Houses directly from my vault submissions.
If you use BTH Watchtowers in your module or PW please show your appreciation by posting a vote.

These are by far my favorite placeables released for NWN2. I have extensively used these in an area in my upcoming campaign Risen Hero. Thanks for creating this.

I love this hak. It holds some pieces in it that would have been great in the official version of the game. Well done on the texturing and modeling of the placeables. _________________________ Tales of Moonsea

Big fan of these models, have really allowed me to ensure approaching a few of my rural/fort areas are a little more difficult than they were before ;)
DD, Thank you for taking the time to track this back here to post a vote. It's not often that users of the compilation haks that make the effort. If more people did it, I'd be encouraged to release more of my models to the vault.

Disregard. Found out one doesn't need to raise the trigger to the level of the walkmesh for it to work.

Great thing for sieges. Great job.
I'm guessing it's not possible to paint a trigger on the raised walkmesh? I can't get a trigger to get higher than 0.

Hey man, told you I would ;)
Alright, the only problem I had was the walkmesh helpers didn't seem to line up properly with the location of it's respective tower.
But ah, this is really nice. Got spikes at different angles, all kinds of watchtowers, and they look good with the default resources. And they're tintable.
Nice work, and thanks.

If I recall correctly, 3C used the same placeables.2da index numbers. And I left room for expansion within the 2da. So it should be a simple matter of adding the new models and merging the extra 2da lines.
I'm working on another small expansion to this hak and I expect it will be ready by early September.
If you use this hak (either on its own or as part of the 3C hak). Please show your appreciation by posting a vote.
I'm finalising an update to this hak that includes a new watchtower and some re-textured rural fort walls. The new tower suits a rural setting perfectly and the new fort walls can be tinted. It should be ready in a day or two.
Thanks to those that have voted, I appreciate the encouragement. _________________________ Barry The Hatchet Custom Content
