The TME 2.0 features 75 new Materials for texturing your Exterior Areas.
Its the second Release in a Series of Textures to enhance Exterior Design.
Actually this ist for Override, but will be a HAK as soon as a working Hak-Utility is available.
New in Version 2: All Textures are now in DDS Format and every Material has a Normal Map.
Hope you enjoy,

Yup....I'm of the same idea of Cazas...really too much reflective ones...and in some cases...well...too much Normal mapping...I mean...too deep^^ Foliage textures (i don't remember the correct name) seem to be wrapped in a plastic vacuum-packed pack XD take a look _________________________ Sono triste e sono felice di esserlo
Thanks to Juason for letting me know of the missing files. The problem should be fixed within this week. So please wait a few more Days. Thanx.

Grr, forgot to say... You should get this moved to the appropriate catagory (as the previous poster stated). I've missed this many times 'cause I wasn't looking for textures under haks.

Great package. Everything required to DO IT RIGHT (hak will be killer when made!). This should be the starting point for a community tileset project! Thanks!
This 'pack' should be titled under 'textures', not under 'hakpacks' which it truly isn't, otherwise it will get totally lost.
Ask Maximus to move it for you. As it was, when I searched for it, using 'textures' it never showed up. I had to dig back through the 'news' to find it. Surely, NOT want you wish to happen.
how do you make this so that your players can see the terrain in game? all i get is people telling me they cant seee it... do you have a .hak file? I dont even know how to make one
Name.dds - base terrain
Name_n.dds - Normal mapping
Name_c.dds - Normal mapping base.
You are missing the _c files, so all you end up getting is some normal mapping alpha channels sitting atop Missing Texture blobs.
Now, after studying what Obsidian did - Name.dds and Name_c.dds are NOT the same. It seems they reduced or changed the quality of the texture when using Normal Mapping. So, I'm not sure if duplicating the Name.dds terrains to Name_c.dds would be advisable.
I'll probably fix our textures until you are able to come up with a fix. But I thought I'd let you know what was wrong in the meantime. Thanks again.
It isn't just us right? I've got confirmation that Normal Mapping isn't working with TME textures on 5 peoples' machines now. I am just suprised this wasn't mentioned earlier.
I saw some links earlier on the forums for adding normal maps to textures. I'm not sure at this point if it is a bug with NWN2 and custom terrain, or if the normal mapping was done incorrectly.
Juason: I wasn't responding to your comment about normal maps not working, but rather to the comment in the description that this "will be a HAK as soon as a working Hak-Utility is available." I realize that I was unclear on this. Sorry, but I don't have anything useful to say about the normal map problem either. _________________________ Big Inventory Icons and Character Info Link

It looks like the normal mapping isn't functioning correctly on the terrain. Perhaps something else needs to be done above and beyond the conversion to a dds file? I'm really not sure :(
Yes I know that. However putting them into a Hak pack won't suddenly make them Normal mapped will it?
The new 1.04 toolset also has the TME textures get replaced by Missingtexture blocks if I enable Normal Mapping inside of it. I'm thinking something went wrong during the creation process? If not, could someone tell me how to get them working on a system with normal mapping please?
This isn't just my system, every one of our developers is reporting these textures don't work if normal mapped terrain is enabled. Thanks!
Although there is no official hak utility out yet, there are two ERF utilities available in the NWN2 Tools section: ERFinder and Encapsulated Resource File Editor. You should be able to use either of these to make a HAK file. _________________________ Big Inventory Icons and Character Info Link

Your terrains aren't supporting Normal Maps. At least, when I turn them on in game, all the textures get replaced with Missing texture blocks. Has anyone else experienced this? I won't be able to use them until it is fixed. Thank you.

Damn it! I just realized I've already been voting for this. Oh well, hopefully some kind administrator pulls this second vote off the table... ;) _________________________ "That is not dead which can eternal lie and with strange aeons even death may die".

Love the Textures, I wished obsidian would have put more textures in. I hope they change the 6 texture limit to 10. Anyways I'm having problems using your textures in mod. It works fine when I'm in the toolset laying down some of your great textures, but after I bake the area and test the area, the textures are replaced with red/yellow boxes, texture is missing. Not sure what to do to resolve this. Are the textures for the presale tool only ?

Good effort! I´m sure there will be swarming of new terrain textures very soon, so this should be the first of many. With the possibility to make our playworlds as realistic as we now can with this amazing toolset, I gladly fill my terrain map with more options. Thank you for this! _________________________ "That is not dead which can eternal lie and with strange aeons even death may die".
