UPDATED 1/7/07 -Familiar_Pack_A allows the sylph, fire elemental, earth elemental, and a tiny dragon hatchling. I was going to make more but it looks like 12 is the limit in the character generator.
Sylph advances as sorceror and gives able-learner feat. Fire Elemental gives resistance to fire, and earth elemental gives toughness feat. Dragon gives Spell Penetration.

Cell, you can always add more familiars and roundabout the problem by editing saved games giving different famialiars to the character i think. Can anyone confirm?
As posted above Jeffinak the new hen_familiar.2da has an extra column. So if your patched up to date you need to 1 email me ([email protected]) for fixed .2da or do the following.
Go to your Nwn2/data/2da.zip file and find hen_familiar.2da. Copy that into a backup directory. Then open the hen_familiar.2da that comes with this update. MANUALLY copy the 8-11 fields into the new hen_familiar.2da from the one supplied by this file. Make sure the last column (not row) you put a 1 for each field _________________________ Patience: N, A minor form of despair, disguised as a virtue.

Reasonable companions... I like your work.
I'm not sure that the skill, that is given with the red dragon appearing on the stage, is good, cause I always take it for my char. The dragon gives the basic version, that cannot be upgraded. So... not good.
Sylph is very usefull for me - it is not too overpowered, and the skill is excellent for rising secondary characteristics.

someone want to help me. I loaded the pack put it in my override folder, but when i load the game and make a guy there is nothing there. i mean nothing i cant select anything cause there is nothing. not even the normal ones. am i doing something wrong?

To answer spiderham24: Animal Companions are for Nature Casters (Druid/Ranger)... Familiars are for Arcane Spell Casters

Good mod, really.
Only two problems I've noticed are:
The Dragon has a huge slection ring, as if he were a Great Wyrm, rather then a hatchling.
And now with the latest patch, as people have said, I can no longer conjure/select a familar.
So, all in all, worth checking out However with the latest NWN2 patch, this mod has been rendered unusable. :( _________________________ Fairy tales do not tell children that dragons exist.
Children, in fact, already know that dragons exist. Fairy tales tell children the dragons can be killed.
Alright, all this mod does on my game is remove my ability to select an familiar during character creation, therby automatically giving me a cat. Have I done something wrong or is this a conflict issue with other mods?
Hi I encountered a bug. If your character has toughness feat, it will delete that feat if your unsummon the familiar. Same goes for animal companion. Can someone confirm this in their game? Use the DebugMode "givefeat 40" for toughness feat and try it.

I found a "bug" which maybe is hard to clear out:
When right clicking the dragon (selecting for actions) it still has the enormous selection radius-ring as if the dragon were big. Just a small report ^.=.^; _________________________ Fetas Vegai Esga -- Illusion

I like the little dragon but you can add undead pets for the wizards and sorcerers lol :D for tank of course. Maybe even allow a pet blade spider =3. That would be really hella kewl.
I have made the werewolf model into an animal companion so far. There aren't many other "animal" models in the game. There are the dire animals and a deer. The cow or chicken could be humerous. I did find a shadow mastiff or the winter wolves might be fun. If theres any in particular you would like, let me know.

Thanks spiderham24! I must have duplicated the wrong entry when I was making her the second time. Fixed it now. The new file is updated here. Also be sure to issue commands and update the behavior for her everytime you have to resummon her. By default the familiars stay away from combat.

A nice little Hak makes a nice change from the original familiars, god I miss the ones from NWN 1.
You say that the Sylph levels as a Sorcerer does it get spells automaticly?
Its just that I've started a new game and at level 5 and I have't seen it cast a spell yet or Am I doing something wrong.
Sorry GrieverFX... I guess I need to start including one. Just put all the files in your My Documents/Neverwinter Nights 2/override directory. Start your game and the new familiars will be in the character generation.
