BouncyRock Entertainment README FILE: Minotaurs
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
by Jonny Ree Link
Hello again. Today we have a minotaur.
It has two body variation, with or without Armor.
It uses a modified lizman animation set.
Most weapons are supported, except: Staff, crossbow and throwing (also anything simular to that)
Hope everyone likes it :)

Special thanks to:

9 - Outstanding, a Must Have for anyone who wants Minotaurs.
Much needed as I still can't believe they never made Minotaurs for NWN2.
A beautifully made Minotaur model, excellent in every way. If only they had support for those last few animations for the weapons mentioned above it would be a Masterpiece.
Bouncy Rock, you should consider making a compilation pack of all your creatures with an appreances.2A that allows them all to work at the same time. I had to edit one myself. I know there is already a compilation of creatures on the vault with yours featured in it, but I couldn't get those to work.

This is a great additio90n to the custom creatures offered to the NWN2 community. Thanks for creating this and I will be including them in my campaign Risen Hero

I forgot to add a comment for Gildren's benefit.
I'm pretty sure that both the minotaurs and the driders require a custom appearance.2da file. Both of them would be supplied with one and thus when you dropped the driders into the override folder, they worked fine. However, when you added in the minotaurs, the game would have only read the first appearance.2da file (drider). You'll need to merge both 2da files to create a single one that supports both creature models. _________________________ Co-founder of the PW (open beta) Sea of Dragons. Even though I'm a fan of more ferocious looking minotaurs, these are so well modeled and textured I simply have to use them. I too am having a problem using the Override - When I tossed the Drider Override into my Override folder, It showed up in the toolset just fine. Trying the same with the Mino here, and I can't seem to get it to show up. What am I doing wrong here folks? _________________________ -Gildren

Excellent work, seriously well-made models, very nicely textured in great detail, Thanks Bouncy Rock! _________________________ Loudwater / KOW / Khalidine
Can you tell me exactly HOW to apply your model into my toolset? People have been saying "look for the READ ME, but your README just says thanks to all, bla and stuff- so if you could drop me a line... that'd be appreciated.

Heads a bit roundy-ish. Pictures of Minotaurs I have seen showed them being tall muscular creatures. like with human bodies, but this is still great work.

Outstanding... a must have.

It looks like how Obsidian would have done the minotaur. Though it dose cinda look like a buffalo. Never the less it is very well done.

Obsidian should engage you to (re)do all their official 3D-art!! Exceptional work!! Thank you so much for your contributions!! _________________________ Cyphre's Animal Companion Pack

Nicely done, this'll find home in Khalidine. My only other observation here is that the heads are a bit... soft, or perhaps too rounded. Still, great work nonetheless.
Please remember that I vote according to the published scale.

What's this? I just found the driders and now I find the minotaurs? Well, I better bookmark the Bouncy Rock forum, you certainly make module making - and playing, more enjoyable.
A 10 most certainly. It appears that everything you turn out is automatically a ground-breaking masterpiece by default.
I didn't flame, though I was off topic...
BOT: I think the muzzle should be longer and more of a dip off the brow - with the nose wider and nostrils facing foreward, as it is now it looks more like a sea-lion than a bovine.
But great work otherwise - I was working on a new mino for N1... kinda makes me want to pull the model out and start working on it again. _________________________ "I'll sit myself behind this clock, and sing tunes on its belfry!

Hmmm... how many projects have you squandered??? Before complaining about DLA - try to remember DLA brought you robes, cloaks, horses, phenotypes, new classes and bassically 1.69 and a top notch mod. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. _________________________ "I'll sit myself behind this clock, and sing tunes on its belfry!

No, they shouldn't be paying them for anything. As soon as you start doing something for money, you lose complete interest in it. Look at DLA...

As with your other models, Obsidian should be paying all you for these models and merging it with the core game. Totally professional! _________________________ Brian S. Bloom

Ground shaking!!!
I must admit: first look was a "mmhh, good but it seem a bit too fat"...but reviewing it i must say that ireally like them. Just that bit untraditional that make them really characteristic!
Keep the amazing work ,i would really like to see a gigantic worm :)

Great work for sure, but I think they should look a bit more impressive. They look down like slaves and could have a bit more evil/dangerous look I think. More muscles would be great and not such much fat on the stomach. And of course it would be great if there would be the possibility to use player armors and such for them. Same would be great for the drider you have done too.
I just say. More impressive and dangerous. Just like your Beholder and Drider. Btw. Your drider picture "Bare Test" look like it got more muscles than the minos here and look way more fearful. ;)
I have not tested ingame yet, but that's my opinion from screenshots for now. But as all others I of course hope you will do more great stuff since these minotaurs are still very good work and better than much other stuff even from the main game. I would like to request some creatures too for the moment. Hydra, Naga, Remorhaz, Yeti, Abishai and of course most creatures mentioned already are worth it too I think. To be true I think everyone here hopes you will do around 100-200 creatures in the next years. Hoho :D Well at least I hope it will be a very big bunch for builders and gamers and you have fun on this a long time.
Thanks =) _________________________ Ja khaless zhah waela !
