This module was originally part of a larger work, but now exists solely as a coffee-break mini-module - something short and hopefully sweet to kill spare time before work/school etc. There's scope for roleplaying and combat, but the module is quite brief so don't expect anything too epic. The module contains some new items and 2 new monsters
IT's taken from a side quest i ran as a DM in my own campaign setting, but there's nothign so specific it cant be taken to be set anywhere
Just a small adjustment to my vote (upwards)... _________________________ Forgotten Realms Weave

Hi Wyrin, I finally gave this little mod a try. I'm glad I did. I was hooked from the very beginning - thanks to the wonderful goblin companion. He was a really sympathetic creature, I thought. What else did I like? Some of the roleplaying options. The quests in themselves. They were fun quests the "darker" strands of which combined with the "lighter" general mood of the module to a very nice effect. And like everyone else, I was impressed by a certain creative/cleverly designed area and its looks. The fights were fun, too. As for what I didn't like so much, the mod could have used some more polish. The dialogues, for instance, had some mistakes in them. Also, it is clear (and it is made clear by the author, too), that this was originally designed to be a part of something bigger. Now, as the author is clear about this, one won't be disappointed. But that still is a feature of this module. And it is the module, not its author, that I'm giving a vote on. The mod *still* is a very good one - so, in a way the author gets better points from me than the mod does - and I'll be very interested to check out what Wyrin will have to offer the community in the future. I played this with a character from some Forgotten Realms modules. The setting is pretty clearly not FR, but it's quite close. Putting aside some references to certain places (well, actually one might even find some appropriate spots for these places on the FR map) it fit smoothly with the rest of the modules in my campaign. And the references to Torm, Cyric, and Nine Hells helped with the "FR immersion", too. :) Of course the setting isn't meant to be FR (I always like the sort of druidic stuff referred to, by the way); what I'm saying is that despite that, the mod fits pretty well in an FR campaign. (The treasure level was *a bit* high, perhaps, but I equipped a certain goblin well, too, and ended up not being terribly rich/powerfully equipped.) My character started at level 3 and ended up being level 4. Thanks for the hour of fun, Wyrin (yup, I believe I spent roughly one whole hour with this)! What's new? (I note the 'updated' date has changed)

Hi Lariam, This waas taken from a side quest i ran as a DM in DnD Campaign from my own setting - there are references to other places in the setting (Vanfein's Crossing); but nothing so specific that it can't be adapted. I'd been planning on converting my campaign completely but that was getting too large in scope, so i released this part as a side quest _________________________ Wyrin Legacy of White Plume Mountain - A Faerun sandbox classic D&D adventure! @ dmguild - Thanks for the vote! have emailed you an erf i had from a previous backup that contains the underwater area (playing with a speak trigger got this corrupted for final release). The ripple effect is by using the animus appearance as a placed effect - worked better than the steam room one. Hope this helps! _________________________ Wyrin Legacy of White Plume Mountain - A Faerun sandbox classic D&D adventure! Wyrin's NWN2 blog

I really liked it alot. I even tried to figure out how you did the underwater area (so I can make one in my PW) but whenever I open it up it get's corrupt so I can't see it in the Toolset. Any chance you could send me a different copy? dmguild@cox.net Thanks Laurna Skullport - The Port of Shadow _________________________ Keeps calling me it's master, but I feel like it's slave. Short... but sweet. Felt there could have been a lot kmore to this, but what was there was fun, if a little unpolished. Nice roleplaying opportunities, that made a difference. Wasnt sure about some of the writign but that might just be my style. But still nice idea!
