Description
In this bleak winter-cursed world there lies one small hope. Paradise. A forest deep in green and drunk on Spring, it is all that keeps the White Rose from getting crushed by despair. It is all that keeps you, a fugitive on the run, moving forward.
As you travel through the Shade Plain the situation becomes complicated. Fate or perhaps ill luck- intertwines you with the dark events that plague the land.
Ultimately, there lies one question that must be answered.
Will you keep fast the promises made?
Or will you allow despair to soothe you into an eternal sleep?
Knowing the miles to go.
And the miles to go.
The Search for Paradise is the sequel to the White Rose. Characters that finished the first chapter should be used in this one.

Update 2/15/09 - More unique items have been added to the dungeons and stores.
I love where this is going. I can't wait for part three! I do wish there was more character dialogue. They all have such potential in thier own personal back stories! I want to get to know them... maybe even see the option for romance in the future... I mean in a world as desolate as this one, surely love is not lost too? The music was absolutely top notch spectacular! I loved the track for the final battle with Neverdead! I loved how the story came together in carefully placed bits and pieces too. There are so many good points to this... It was really a lot of fun to play. Now I wonder why I never downloaded them sooner. Again I request map notes for the world map transitions as they are hard to see in the snowy areas. While I do like the fact that there isn't an OVER abundance of junk and gold littering the mods, I would like to see a few more things better suited to maybe a rogue/arcane caster. There was no shortage of gear for the barbarians, fighters or even druid types, but a thief would be hard pressed. I played through as a sorcerer, and there were several times when I wished I had been a rogue instead, and may well try it out if gear for a thief was slightly more plentiful... I must say, I was initially nervous about the lack of traditional Faerun Deity structure, but it works well, especially if the mindflayers really did manage to usurp all the beliefs of the realms. I feel for the protagonist in the story. In a world where every aspect of faith and morality is questioned, and doubt dogs the mind. I was actually sad when I got to the end because I was really quite taken with the story. I can see how the story is taking hold in the author's mind... and blossoming very much like a rose... for lack of a better way of putting it. Part one was sort of the budding sprout, and part two shows us the hidden potential beauty of the story... In part three, don't be afraid to blossom! Flesh it out, give this world and it people the life it begs for in our imaginations!! Haha... sorry got a bit too into the philisophical there... Forgive me. But it really has the potential to be a sweeping epic tale! Marvelously done! Keep us posted on the arrival of part three!! _________________________ Stupidity kills people. When posted Post Apocalyptic Means End of faerun or something like the world of faerun has been kinda destroyed in a way well if thats the case really well done on makeing a story about it. Well I allso want to add I think more items and longer mod will be awsome for the next chap cant wait to play it. Allso if possible during ur voyage to the last forest u should make a scean where they all have a talk about what it will be like to get there to the forest as they talk on there ship gets raided maybe by some kind of monsters or somthing would be fun to see well happy createing the new mod fairwell. Thanks for this mod; It was great overall, and I especially enjoy the unique setting, original and snowy. Definitely waiting to see how things are going to unfold in the last part. Must be in the next: - more items, especially weapons! I struggled with a bone and a short sword+1 bought in the first part before Cee finally join the party. I "had to" steal her short sword+2. - the mood outside the castle Shade is perfect, thanks to the atmospheric and battle tracks. Keep those ones for the next. - more fleshed out dialogs would greatly add to your compagnons. Moments like the one when Jekyll tried to fight his evil side near the lonely tree make them stand out.

To grandgnu: Sorry, but you are going to have to reload to a point when Brenda was still alive to finish that quest. With the polar fight try keeping her at good health with a healer. (either you or jekyll)

I'm in the tomb but Brenda died in battle because of the explosion of one of the polar infused. So when I reach the missing archeologists there doesn't appear to be anything I can do to continue or clear the journal entry. I assume I have to keep her alive in order to finish this quest? Any console command or something I can use here?

Nice work, balancing is much improved over the first part. Major issue was I was not really sure why I should want to follow the White Rose guys, let Seeker rot ;) . Some more motivation for the PC would be nice. I also would have liked some more extensive sidequest and some more interaction in places like the barbarian village.

Well done! The story, rp:ing with party npcs, music, and setting is done with high standard! + .Well written and keeps the interest for upcoming parts! .Roleplaying elements with party members - Jekyll did scare me a bit... .Music - wünderschön! - .the battle with dryads and treants (the manipulation/dream) were a bit too out of 'placeä perhaps.. a way bit easy too. .Neverdead were too difficult.. _________________________ ::RAWR::

/*SOILERS/* Well excelent module in overall. I think final battle was way too easy. And the game end like to wall after that. Mayby story continues.... It was bit boring to find similiar weapons, i had 2 of almost every magic weapon available hehe. stores didnt really have anything usefull except 1 thiefs tool . But apart of that i enjoyed playing this mod. Great story and had some supprices in it.
