You are a prisoner in the dungeon of the King of Death. You committed no crime and the arrest was sudden and merciless. The King is mad, and you feel that danger is drawing near, for you must somehow escape the dungeon and the castle before you find your death there.
v1.1: Some small fixes and tweaks.
v1.2: Re-did much of the main dialogue. Spell Guards now cast spells.
A short diversion - worth playing but really seems like a prologue. Would like to see a fleshed out story; seems like this is a good start.

Very basic, but fun.

I'm glad that many people enjoyed playing the mod. It went out on the disk that accompanies the european magazine PC Games. A couple months ago, so hopefully they liked it too! I'm working on three different mods right now, one for NWN1 and one is the Flight from Death Prequel. The third is just an unrelated NWN2 mod. So if you enjoyed this mod look for the prequel coming in early february. _________________________ "Jelly for God's sake Beans! This is madness! Just what I needed for a little break. Thank you. Nothing fancy, simple and bug free, good.

I agree with Shadius, this ain't gonna win any awards but it was curiously fun. If you keep working on this mod or make another one, I'll give it a look. _________________________ If you don't like the game, why do you post in the forums?

My vote is based on the following criteria and on the NWN2 voting standards: 1. Storyline - whether or not the module offers any kind of story. Obviously this depends on the type and length of the module. 2. Roleplaying - as above but regarding roleplay opportunities and the effect of your actions. 3. Diffuculty - whether the module scales to the level it was intended to. A high score does not mean that it is a very difficult module but mainly means that it was a good chanllenge thus neither too easy nor impossible. 4. Visuals - a vote on how the author used the tileset to produce a pleasent and adequate atmosphere. 5. Loot - whether loot is realistic and adequate. A high score does not mean that there is a lot of loot but mainly means that the loot is related to the story and neither excessive nor too little. A FLIGHT FROM DEATH First of all it must be kept in mind that this is a short 30 minute hack'n'slash module. Therefore no epic storyline is expected. The score is therefore adapted to the type of module. 1. Storyline - 5 - sometimes to vague but at least there is a reason for your actions. 2. Roleplaying - 5 - obviously limited in such a module, however the author still tries to offer dialogue options. 3. Difficulty - 5 - this depends on the character. Probably too easy for melee and too difficult for non - melee. 4. Visuals - 6 - very good use of the toolset. 5. Loot - 6 - loot makes sense in most circumstances, is well placed and not overpowering. Maybe a store at the end of the story would have helped. Overall - 5.5 - I think this is a very good module for a first try. The score is between fair and good relative to the potential of the community and the toolset. The score would be much higher if related to the current modules.

Hi, I enjoyed playing your module with a friend of mine, besides the little bug with the door we found one see-through corner, can't remember where though. All in all a great job and a fun to play module while we all wait for bigger ones still in creation. Play it if you didn't do so already! Perhaps you could add a little more dialogue at the end, the typical "I'm ready to leave" and "No, I'm not ready yet" so people can properly export their characters before the end. (All modders reading this, please do so, too) It's enoying not having exported, when the module suddenly finishes. - I'm always hope the module might still continue .... :-)

For such an early game it's very good. I very much enjoyed it. Too often hack-and-slash modules don't have a story beyond the intro but yours got me interested in the adventure and the characters involved. I think all the minor criticisms have been said so I'll just say keep it up. I look forward to your next module.
