Here it his: Baldurs Gate City completely revamped.
All exterior areas have been reproduced, as well as all the shops, temples and all places of interest like the Ducal Palace, the Iron Throne, the H-Q of the Flaming Fist, and so on. However, you will not find individual apartments of citizens like in the 1997 release.
The city is animated by commoners, merchants, aristocrats, and priests, through automated scripts.
I respected as closely as possible the original design release by Bioware in 1997 and I even observed the precise location of objects in indoors areas.
You can use this Prefab like you wish however mention my name and e-mail address please.
Cheers,
Sébastien Raymond

Wow... just for the sheer nostalgia these screenshots evoked, this deserves the title of Masterpiece... And to think how many interior areas there are as well, even without the general homes and things... just wow. _________________________ In production: The Dragon Dynasty All my other stuff

Another great piece from you Seb. You recreated the original Baldu'rs Gate city to a T.

sirchet,
I remember you from WotR. We have an adventure that will be out relatively soon, and we'd love a review from you. Good to hear from you again, and cheers!

Sebastien_Raymond,
I thought this looked familiar, I ran around on WotR when it was in beta and loved it.
Thank you very much for this.
I also appreciate your comment of "You can use this Prefab like you wish however mention my name and e-mail address please. "
This seems more than fair.
Again, thank you for releasing this and if you need any help with dialog, (turning second language English into American) please feel free to contact me. _________________________ Help is good when asked for,

Thanks Anthony, its always good to hear that you are still around.

I'm glad that I could be a part of creating this prefab. It's certainly a 10 when it comes to prefabs. I hope that everyone enjoys it as much as I did. _________________________ Kieron

Not less not more then 10 points. Baldur's Gate now exist in NWN2. Excellent accuracy in creating locations.
Like I said in my last post: Im redoing it now Its the third time Im redoing it. The first one was terrible. The second one was acceptable (for the awfully little time I had to revamp it a bit, believe me). I know people are downloading this Prefab mainly for the 81 interiors areas.
The second thing is that when the WotR (PW) closed, I wanted to give this to the community for personal reason.
Third thing, I have other project that are already finish and others started (like Keep on the Shadowfell and I also have started the adaptation of SoU for NwN2). However, doing thing completely alone, and without people whit a minimum of knowledge of the different aspects of the toolset is frustrating.
I need to reform a little team around myself. If you would like to talk whit me, please contact me at [email protected] dont hesitate, I dont bite.
Best regards,

There's a lot of content in this prefab, and it's great to have recreated Baldur's Gate to a degree. However, it really does lack polish in the texturing department. There's a distinct lack of texture blending and colouring, which really does make the overall quality suffer. I realise such work would require significantly more time, but I feel it would take this prefab from very good to excellent or even outstanding. _________________________ AmstradHero Fate of a City Module Development Blog Fate of a City Blog

Just awesome. Very nice Sebastien. _________________________ Time is vital so manage it well.
I will try to upload a new version of this Prefab as soon as possible and maybe make alternative download for people (the city whit hak or no haks). The hak version will have also the Ducal palace exterior and the Ramazith Tower exterior as bonus
I hate hak (sorry Nytir, even if your hak is a Masterpiece, it shouldnt be a hak but part of the game itself! They should have paid you to do this Masterwork!).
Second thing:
For those who are wondering what Im doing: Candelkeep is done and the Friendly Arm Inn Also. Beregost is already done (for those who dont know it by now, just look on the vault for the Prefab Beregost). Visit my SkyDrive to see screenshots of whats going on if you wonder.
Im working on a mini-campaign called Neverwinter Nights 2 : Keep on the Shadowfell. My main problem is very simple: Im French-Canadian, not English-Canadian and you must have notice that my English writing is not perfect. So, in a way Im limited in writing story and particularly conversation. However, Im able to make sure the module could be fully bilingual at the end (even if its really not my priority).
Third thing;
People interested to talk to me, never hesitate to contact me ([email protected])

The only thing to which I refer is copyright. There's no shame to say that you used the work of another person to enrich yours, even if you adapted this prefab to your needs.
Dont hesitate to tell me what you have done!
Im here to play like everyone and have fun.

This is an absolute gem. I can't imagine the amount of work you put into it. The amazing part is, I've been testing it out, and as huge as this is, I'm not really finding any noticeable glitches. Bravo.
One question, though. I am going to be using this in my weekly multiplayer campaign (changing the name of the city for my world and a few other things), and plan to put a sign in my module's start area with a credit to your. The description above says you want your email address placed in the credits. Perhaps I'm dense, but I don't know where to find your email address.

Wow! Absolutely beautiful! This brings back many memories! Look exactly like the Bioware version of Baldurs Gate. When are you going to release your CandelKeep version? Why dont you work with Josh Fundomondo?
