Save game character editor for NWN2. It supports both player characters and companions. You can edit abilities, skills, feats, spells, inventory and companion influence. Requires Java Runtime Environment 1.6 or later.
This version of the editor supports custom game content and should work with or without the Mask of the Betrayer and Storm of Zehir expansions.
Fantastic tool. Much easier to figure out use than any other system I've ever happened across (I remember Leto for NWN-1) and more stable. Only thing lacking is clarity in the help file for setting it up. I ended up with the following in the shortcut target file: C:\WINDOWS\system32\javaw.exe -DNWN2.install.path="C:\Program Files (x86)\Atari\Neverwinter Nights 2" -DNWN2.data.path="C:\Users\Greg\Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2" -jar NWN2Editor.jar Editing the above for the ACTUAL file path locations for game install and saves should work for anyone, I just copied mine verbatim as an example. Additionally, I couldn't get it to work without placing a copy of NWN2 Editor.jar in the same directory as javaw.exe (C:\Windows\system32 in the case of my setup).

I would love if you could use double-clicking to add feats and spells or highlight and select multiple feats and spells.

This tool is epic. So strait-forward, effective, and easy to use.

help: I just got a new laptop with Windows 7 and I can't run the editor: I unzipped the file, but I don't understand what to do next, like where do I change the "target" and where is the NWN2editor.lnk? thx

Nevermind, I have a conflict somewhere. It worked after I cleaned my override folder out

Awesome work but I was wondering if it is supposed to work with Kaedrin's PrC pack. I can edit just fine until I add a new prestige class ron Kaedrin's, then I get a dbexception: Character class ### is not defined (using 4.2 version)

also, if i open characters in the editor, the skills still look fine for everyone, as they did when i re-doing the level-ups for my main character. so again i hope its only messed up the info shown on the "character" tab and not actual skills, but still annoying.

help, this may have screwed up my game, at the character screen the skills are all wrong for all my characters and some are in the negative. all i did was remove my characters level back to one and re-allocate his starting skill points to other things. It worked fine at the level-ups, but like i said everything looks screwy on the character screen. Hopefully its only visual, did anyone else have this problem?

If you have Java in the default directory, and Steam in the default directory, on on x64 system, this is a shortcut that works: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\javaw.exe" -DNWN2.install.path="C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\neverwinter nights 2" -Xmx256m -jar NWN2Editor.jar
