Save game character editor for NWN2. It supports both player characters and companions. You can edit abilities, skills, feats, spells, inventory and companion influence. Requires Java Runtime Environment 1.6 or later.
This version of the editor supports custom game content and should work with or without the Mask of the Betrayer and Storm of Zehir expansions.
Has anyone had issues running this with the Steam version of NWN 2? Mine is looking for 2DA.zip and cannot locate it. Can't find the file anywhere on my system.

I notice I was using the wrong .exe from Java. now that I chose javaw.exe as default for opening .jar files I get this error: "could not find the main class C:\Users\Dexel\Desktop\NWN2Editor\NWN2Editor.jar. program will ext."

Cannot install the editor. I'm trying to open the .jar file with Java Web Start Launcher (from java 6). I didn't have java when after downloaded and Nokia's Ovi was set as default, maybe I'm using the wrong part of Java... Opening with Web Start Launcher it just says "aplicattion cannot be started" in details it says "the next field required for file execution is missing ". or that's what translating it from spanish should say. Im running on Win 7 ultimate 64bit

Wonderful in most ways. I have two recommendations. 1) Druid feats Plant Wild Shape and Natural Spell aren't available and if you have them you cannot open the character file to edit it. 2) The item list is not comprehensive. Other than that, well done and does everything I need it to do with minimal attention. I'll reserve voting for if and when the error is fixed, the item list is just frills.

I can`t seem to be able to change my wizard`s specialization no matter what i do, tried every console command possible, now this editor... I`m losing hope... maybe i just missed something with the editor so i thought to ask if anyone had this problem before and how they fixed it... I started out using one of the game`s default packages, but now i want my generalist wizard to become a necromancer. I`m only lvl9 for now, but i`d hate to start all over for this, and if i`ll have to, i`ll just roll a rogue/assassin build or a pure warlock.

Awesome, awesome mod work. I can't imagine playing this game without it, because sometimes you just make silly mistakes that you need to correct much later on. 10. Also, Squall_25, you're a damn genius. Thanks for figuring that out for me. It was taking me awhile to figure out how to change the installation path since I relocated my files to a larger hard drive. Much obliged and appreciate the information! (:

modify nwn 2 editor for win 7 users i used this path 1)find javaw.exe in programfiles(x86)/java and copy to windows/system32 2) change short cut of nwn editor to C:\WINDOWS\system32\javaw.exe -DNWN2.install.path="where nwn 2 installed" -jar NWN2Editor.jar exmp; C:\WINDOWS\system32\javaw.exe -DNWN2.install.path="D:\Program Files\Atari\Neverwinter Nights 2" -jar NWN2Editor.jar this can work on vista ,too. i just found this way yet so im sorry if it doesnt work for you , gl hf

@matcieou7th The spells tab thing isn't a bug. In NWN2, Clerics and Druids draw from a global spell list. They don't learn any spells, they just choose the ones they want to use. And for the people complaining about MoW save games; iirc, MoW uses a different method of saving, plus the fact that the creator probably isn't supporting this anymore.

Very disappointed this doesn't work with MoW saved games

I'm getting the same error with Mysteries of Westgate: "Hi I get an error with Mysteries of Westgate, DBException: Westgate_AR1700.mod: File version is not 1.0 or 1.1"
