I felt the circular minimap was too constrictive, and the area map too large, so I shrank the area map to about half its height and width.
I was hoping to attain something closer to NWN1-style map, but all the actual map functionality is hardcoded and doesn't lend itself to anything beyond superficial changes. Oh well.
Fantastic! Loving it! Though I don't understand the need for the xml to remove the minimap, since it is toggled in the prefs (unless when this script was first made that wasn't an option?)

Like the author, I use this instead of his Square Minimap override (or the awful builtin minimap). Great stuff.

Very good add, it gave me an idea to remove the area map totally that can be really a must have for PW. size to 0, player arrow to nothing...area map is now totally gone ^^ Many thanks

It is astonishing how much this improved the look of my UI! A definite must have. You don't have to play around with the minimap. Just use this outstanding mod. Brilliant! The best ideas don't have to be big, they just have to make the gaming experience significantly better -- and this mod does just that. _________________________ Mediocrity ain't so bad!

Thanks, this really improved gameplay for me, as I didn't like the minimap at all.
