(Wildwoods question) How do you turn off the lights in the manor windows? They seem to be off in the toolset, but then in game they are on. _________________________ Vault Submissions | Arnheim | Beyond Vives

These are just awesome! At first, I thought I was in the NWN2 section! I didn't think it was possible to have something like this in NWN1!

For some reason, I neglected to vote on this a long time ago. Here's the minimum rating that I could possibly give such work.
This is an incredible tileset. I see that I'm going to have to integrate it into my PW and start remaking forests all over the place.
Nice job, _six. _________________________ World of Aenea (Hall of Fame PW and the origin of all my works)

Re: Quillmaster, check out the Fade Geometry option in the toolset's Environment dropdown. That should hide all high level foliage and make the set a breeze to work with. Cheers! _________________________ --- What can Q do for you? --- Undead Redux 2 | Wild Woods Tileset

What a fantasy forest SHOULD look like! Awesome stuff. Thanks for re-kindling my interest in tilesets. My only criticism is the treetops makes placing stuff a tad awkward, but well worth putting up with for the final look and feel. :) _________________________ View my blog regarding the Relbonian Chronicles project --> Link
Thanks all! Re: Jackal, well I have a self-imposed rule on Wild Woods not to import any of my models (besides some tree foliage) from elsewhere, to ensure that everything in the tileset has been modelled and textured by me. However, feel free to come up with add-ons to your heart's content. _________________________ --- What can Q do for you? --- Undead Redux 2 | Wild Woods Tileset

Really excellent looking tilesets!
There are some things I'd like to see added (buildings and stuff from other tilesets, mostly). I'm more than capable of creating my own tileset "add-ons", so customizing to my liking should be relatively easy. Thanks six, fantastic job!

I think six has enough to do in real life and decided to spend the time he had for nwn1 in wildwoods and not wildlands, maybe in future he do something with wildlands! ;) _________________________ new_cloak_tex.hak eberron_cloaks.hak NWN2X

Six, I've begun building in earnest recently with these tilesets, and must say again how impressed by them I am.
I am wondering however if you plan to revisit the Wildlands. It is a wonderful tileset, but needs a little work here and there. Specifically:
Hut2 does not accept a door.
Some of the buildings lack textures on surfaces that are visible when the camera is low/parallel to the ground. In particular I noticed this with House4 1x2.
The windows in the buildings do not light up at night.
The sea tiles do not have any way to enter them. No ramps, no caves, no doors. Thus the piers and ship are not reachable which makes it very difficult to make a coastal city with this set. Also the bridge (which crosses sea tiles) does not connect to city tiles, only grass tiles. _________________________ Vault Submissions | Arnheim | Beyond Vives

That said... I'm starting to come to the conclusion that nobody actually reads whatever you write. They just see the word "permission" somewhere and freak out. _________________________ --- What can Q do for you? --- Undead Redux 2 | Wild Woods Tileset
Although (and while I hate getting into this) if you read my permission request section a little more carefully, you'll see it only refers to people who aren't using it in a module. So if you're building a module, I really don't mind what you do with it. Whereas if a large generic content package not tied to a specific PW or module included this content without asking me, I would be a little annoyed - after all the only reason to include content in a package like that is to make your package more popular (which has its own set of advantages and disadvantages for both parties). Using it in a module, or even putting it in a module's own hakpak has very few drawbacks for either party, and I for one am totally fine with it. _________________________ --- What can Q do for you? --- Undead Redux 2 | Wild Woods Tileset

I would LOVE to see this in a future CEP release. Heh. It would be perfect for so many PW's.
That aside, while I totally don't agree with requiring permission from builders to use in online projects, specially when you use assets and work from others to finish this, this still deserves a 10. _________________________ -The Capulet

I will use the wildwoods tileset in my module. Amazing quality. I'm impressed. I really like that the tree foliage fades. It allows a builder to work with this tileset efficiently, and a player to see what they are doing when they zoom out for a battle. Yet, the forest still feels dense like it should.
Also that you can walk on the cliff tops, that the cliffs can be painted next to the chasm for gorge-iousness. walkable streams. smooth raisable terrain. wow. great great work.
Now however... i'm looking for tree placeables that look like they belong in this forest. if anyone knows anything please let me know. having access to tree placeables that look like those in this forest tileset would be really useful in the wildlands tileset near a transition into the forest area.
anyway, thanks so much for this, six. great work that works well in tandem with the castle rural tileset. _________________________ Vault Submissions | Arnheim | Beyond Vives

Gorgeous work. I've tagged this, and see if I can use it in my mod. Would be great if some of your tile sets got rolled into Project Q. _________________________ Vault Submissions | Arnheim | Beyond Vives

Hey its Christmastime, so i got some time to play around with the tileset and i have some wishes for my chrismas presents *g*
- natural cave entrances for cliffs
- 1 "Woods"-tile without trees (but with that bushes on the ground) to create free areas (meadow just has to much "edge requirements")
- possibility to place cliffs, thicket etc. diagonal to another tile of the same group
Well just some ideas that would make this great tileset even better (in my opinion *g*)
Merry Christmas! _________________________ Zur groben Abschätzung kann angenommen werden, dass ich immer Recht habe. Wendals Sphäre
