Description
This mod is part four of 'The Infernal Crown,' a four-module campaign set in the Forgotten Realms. It is intended for single-player use with first level characters. You begin the campaign as a member of a secret society of vigilantes, whose motto is 'evil unto evil' (think Dirty Harry or the Punisher), so your character should be evil or neutral in alignment (lawful evil is ideal). Humans, Half-Elves, and Half-Orcs are ideal choices for character races. Dwarves, elves, halflings, and gnomes are not recommended. Single-class wizards, sorcerors, and rogues may have a tough time with the module, but henchmen are available to help you. No Hak-Paks are required. The Shadows of Undrentide and Hordes of the Underdark expansion pack are both required to play this campaign (older SOU-only versions are available on my website).
Kczirzneb: I had the same problem with IV not loading from the transition at the end of Part III. For me, the problem was that Part IV was saved in my NWN Mods folder in its own separate sub-folder (NWN/mods/InfernalCrownIV, I think). Take the files out of that folder, and place them directly under the NWN/mods folder. I'm having a good time with this series, but my henchies are getting "splattered" (no respawn), and there's no option to Resurrect or Raise them. Could someone let me know if there's a workaround to that, and how to do it? Also, I'm noticing that Bryar is apparently immortal, now. I just finished the Evereska part. In some of the fights, I got killed, and waited a bit before respawning, just to see what would happen. The Elves couldn't hurt Bryar, and eventually he cleaned them up. It might be his combo of equipment, but I wonder. He does have the ring of power from Redbone, too. Fun mods, Bob! I'd like to finish IV, but WITH the henchmen. Lat

Bob- I have a problem I haven't seen in the postings. I finished III and when I click on the the part that say make sure you have hired all of your henchman and have IV installed . I have done both. When I click on it the screen just goes black with the "hand" curser on it and nothing else happens. What am I doing wrong? I've tried reinstalling IV into the mod files. That doesn't help. I did notice that if I go to "new" game there is are I, II, and III but no IV.

Great game. It just all seemed to go wrong at the end. I take it you are not supposed to kill the main bad guy, Moloch, yourself, but wait for somebody else to do it. I had the demonscourge sword and he got a 1 on his saving throw so he disintigrated, I think time would have prohibited killing him otherwise as the odd hits on the Baatorians would have eventually killed them. So anyway, having killed him I gave the crown to the good guy, but he just kept asking me for it again, as did the bad guy, who I couldn,t give it to as the good guy now had it. I couldn't take it off moloch as he was already dead when I was asked and I had looted his corpse before I killed the last Baatorian. How should this finish 'cos I'm just stuck in a loop of people wanting the crown I no longer have. I also think the mmakers have made Red Dragon Disciples a bit to hard as neither Baatorians or Moloch did any damage to me whatsoever. Some of the guys previous did, but not a lot. TIA phil

I'm in sublevel 3 ni the fortress, and I don't understand the pedestal puzzle at all. Is there some book I was supposed to find explaining this? And no, I have not found any other answer sources for this.

****** Spoilers ****** Same problem as Alporik. Master is hostile IMMEDIATELY upon appearing. I would like to finish, but cannot. ****** End Spoilers

The master is hostile immediately upon appearing. You seem to be confirming that I have a faction issue. The merchants back at the village were also hostile, though outside villagers were not. While it doesn't make much sense, I assumed it was because I killed the petrified umber hulk, he was nonhostile after all. I saw other references below to the merchants being hostile, so I did not think it affected the ability to finish the chapter. The only thing that I can think of to do is export my character, put a start point next to the chest (not that I know how to do this, but I saw references to it), and restart there. The factions should be reset and hopefully opening the chest will trigger the correct sequence, rather than having me battle an untouchable master.

uh, what's supposed to happen is that a bunch of celestials appear and "master" takes the crown from you and bails. master should not be hostile to you when you first pick up the crown. he should try to initiate a conversation with you, then you might ask him for more info, at which point he reveals himself and takes the crown (if u don't give it to him yourself). so you are saying as soon as he spawns in, he is hostile? or do you just try to attack him? he is not defeatable at that point (not without help anyway, which you will get later...) in any case, he should not be hostile when he spawns in, unless you attack him.
