Description
UPDATED 11/29/04 - Version 1.06Long ago, the world of Sanctuary was ravaged by an eternal war between the angels of the High Heavens and the demons of the Burning Hells that had spilled over to the mortal realm. Thousands of years has passed since that great war, and the world of mortals has been flourishing. But an ancient evil is rearing its ugly head in Tristram, a small town in Khanduras. Now you have come back to Tristram, the place of your birth, because something deep inside you has beckoned you to return - and face your destiny... This module is a remake/reimagining of the original Diablo game published by Blizzard Entertainment in 1996, as well as its expansion Hellfire published by Sierra Online in 1997. This module is HEAVILY COMBAT-ORIENTED with very light role-playing. It is designed for single player but is totally accessible for multiplayer gaming.
The cep.tlk table associated with the CEP of this module. Only use this if you're having problems loading the module due to a missing custom .tlk table. Download this to your NWN's /tlk folder.
@ FeriumX: Well, I hope you can still enjoy the game even with those "white-outs" :) Or maybe you can get the time to address those video drivers. In any case, good luck and have fun with the module! Unfortunately, LoT is the first and only module I have created for NWN... I was planning a prequel a few years ago, but the amount of time I had to invest on creating it pretty much discouraged me from completing it (Lord of Terror took me almost 8 months to finish, just to give you an idea). But thanks for the interest, I appreciate it!

~> tolitzrosel Thanks for the help. To be honest with you, since I posted that thread I hadn't been able to come up with any other ideas about a fix. However, I've been trying to get DDO running on my computer which I have to do through WINE and I haven't been having much luck. Every time I tried to load it I'd get the same error. When I was looking for a fix for that I found that I wasn't the only one getting that same message and other people had to deal with the S3TC compression issue. I was starting to wonder if that was the problem. Unfortunately it looks like I'm going to have to attempt to build a graphics driver for my video card from scratch, and I'm not sure if I'm up to it. However, I greatly appreciate your quick response and dedication to your most excellent mod. I can still play I just have to deal with a few things being boring old white, lol. FeriumX P.S. Are there any other mods you've made for NWN?

I installed the LOT and I have to admit I am really enjoying it. Just a small problem. I seem to be missing some textures. I followed your suggestions and installed the CEP. When that didn't work, I tried an updated version, 1.52, and then added their patch that allows it to be fully compatible with NWN 1.68. That still didn't fix the problem, so I checked again that all of the mod files were installed in the right places. It might also help to mention that I'm using a Linux machine, and I have to do all of these installations manually, so I realize I may have made a mistake. Any suggestions?

Why, thank you, friend! It's just I am not very fond of unending legions of monsters striking at me while I try to enjoy the more subtle aspects of a game/module. I will now download your Diablo adaptation!

Hey Jed, The module doesn't have respawning monsters except for the forest clearing... it just looks like they're respawning sometimes because of the some encounters that are triggered behind you that you don't get to attack, hence when you come back to that area, there they are :) Just a quick thanks to everyone who played and are still playing the module. The official site for the module is back up (nwn.tolitz.com) so if you have any questions on quests or need a walkthrough, just visit it. Thanks again! - t

Very good module. Well structured quests, nice dialogues, lots of roleplaying :) Just the crashes destroying saves were somewhat annoying.
