Description
UPDATED 11/29/04 - Version 1.06Long ago, the world of Sanctuary was ravaged by an eternal war between the angels of the High Heavens and the demons of the Burning Hells that had spilled over to the mortal realm. Thousands of years has passed since that great war, and the world of mortals has been flourishing. But an ancient evil is rearing its ugly head in Tristram, a small town in Khanduras. Now you have come back to Tristram, the place of your birth, because something deep inside you has beckoned you to return - and face your destiny... This module is a remake/reimagining of the original Diablo game published by Blizzard Entertainment in 1996, as well as its expansion Hellfire published by Sierra Online in 1997. This module is HEAVILY COMBAT-ORIENTED with very light role-playing. It is designed for single player but is totally accessible for multiplayer gaming.
The cep.tlk table associated with the CEP of this module. Only use this if you're having problems loading the module due to a missing custom .tlk table. Download this to your NWN's /tlk folder.
Hi, I would like to know if this module uses monster respawning on a regular basis. Hope someone can tell me. Thanks in advance.

I've registered to the site just to vote for this excellent work. Today I've finished LoT after playing for three days. My Paladin reached lvl 27. But the walkthough is unavailable right now. So I had a couple of quests unfinished.

Um ..see above post .... thats how you get it to work with NWN 169 and CEP 2.2. and follow the link in Rycalawre previous post to get the CEP critical files and then find a copy of CEP 151. It will work alongside with your current CEP 2.2. As someone pointed out earlier it could take the Author a great deal of time and work to bring it up to date. It took me twenty minutes to DL what I needed and install.

if anyone is reading this, first of all please don't flame me for posting on something old. This could really be useful should it be updated for CEP 2.2 and 1.69. I am sure MANY people would enjoy playing this through. just puttin it out there, maybe someone can do this- I have neither the time nor the knowledge to do so but would appreciate any work towards this. :) _________________________ I lolzorz @ j0ur paffetik gramerz!

Hey Thanks Rycalawre for the link there, that worked a treat. I had a slight problem with the CEP 152 install. The full list of HAK files needed to run the mod are - cep2da.hak cep1patch.hak cep1patch150.hak cep1patch152.hak cepanatomy.hak cepbaseitem.hak cepcreature.hak cepplace.hak cepportrait.hak ceptexture.hak The last six of these are NOT in the CEP Critical Files .zip, you have to install earlier CEP version to get them. Heres what I did to get the mod working - 1. Follow the link 2. DL the CEP critical files, unzip and put them in you NWN HAK folder. 3. Full Install CEP v. 150 or 151 (I used 151) and this will place the rest of the missing files in your HAK folder. For some reason CEP 152 full install does NOT have the missing files. 4. Play! So far everything works well, I still have CEP 2.2 installed and nothing is conflicting ... Thanks again Rycalawre and also the Authors of Tortured Hearts II for listing how to fix this ... Im off to the Cathedral :)

It's a shame that the very detailed and helpful walkthrough that Tolitz had up and running for a long time has gone completely offline. I went through this great piece of work no less than two years ago, and now that I decided to give it another shot, I completely forgot how to solve certain key quests. Any kind soul who happens to be well versed in this awesome module could remind me how to enter the Temple & Caverns at the Forest of Khanduras? (and I bet I'll slap my forehead and yell "but of course!" when someone tells me!)

I really do hope you update the game for 1.69 and the current CEP, cause i want to play this, and im having one hell of a time trying to get this up and running. Keep getting a missing custom talk file or something, ive downloaded almost a dozen files in an attempt to play this, alas nothing has worked so far.
