Description
Having escaped from hell where the Sun God banished you, a strange being known as the Laughing God now guides your steps as you prepare to confront the Sun God. Before you can challenge a god, however, you have to seek the approval of his peers, traveling around the planes doing their will. Once you reach your goal, however, what will become of you? Is your goal justice or vengence? This module is the final in the MTS Mines of Twin Summit Trilogy and it is strongly recommended that the players have participated in the first two installments. It is intended for a group of players using a server to host the game, preferably in a LAN game environment.
I'm not sure why the sextant code suddenly isn't working for some (evil) characters. I'm afraid that fixing that is probably up to the original author.
Instead, I've elected to bypass the sextant system altogether for evil characters. I've posted an alternate version of MTS3 for evil characters. I adjusted the module starting script to check your alignment before you begin the module; if evil, the variables that mark Lord Shin and Oswald as dead, and Persephone as not rescued, are set accordingly.

Hi! I am meeting non-auto-save problem at the end of MTS2. And when I hand-saved my PC and start MTS3 with that PC, the good path seems to start (I should not see the Lord Shin and the Lady if that is the evil path, right?)
Are there any way to, say, type cheat code and make my PC play the evil path?

Where are the 7 notes again? _________________________ Steve's Characters - please don't forget to vote on them if you play them.
Very enjoyable. The fights are challenging for my character that romped through other campaigns and there is enough experience to be earned for my character to advance through the upper levels.

Cool series. The second one was somewhat lengthy, but the this part is really nice.

Bows before Q... Damn that was an excellent quest series... The 3rd one was the best out of them all... Had all the support for the Gods n Goddesses n found all the items I needed... Wish I could rate this hire... All I can say is WOW... Definitely very very challenging n I'm so glad I played solo lol... Made it even more fun... I hate ending such excellent mods... These are the kind that you never want to end, their that good...
Was a teeny bit bummed about the armor after find all the pieces I needed cause I couldn't wear it lol... I play a ranger/wizard/champion of torm character so the armor wasn't for me lol... Oh well the game being so fun itself made up for the armor lol...
Are you still making more mods for NWN1... Hope so cause I want to play more... _________________________ "Let the Dragon ride again on the winds of time. The Prophecies will be fulfilled. The Dragon is Reborn."

Playing the last mod n doing it solo which I love because it's definitely a challange lol... Question I have is like a lot of other people is the componites n quests n the music notes... I've read thru the posts on here n seen where a few of the items are mentioned but not where they all are... I'm not having a prob with the quests in general just where these side quests are... Can anyone help please...
(Also I think I messed up somewhere cause I was reading a couple of the posts about someone named Puck n I went throu the area n wipped everything out, never did find a Puck think I may have messed up doin that but oh well lol) _________________________ "Let the Dragon ride again on the winds of time. My apologies for not getting back to you sooner. I've only recently had the chance to go back into MTS3 to take a look at this.
I believe I have fixed the problem (a tag/resref mismatch). While I am not yet at the point where I can test the script that spawns the Stone, I believe it should spawn properly now; I was able to get one using the DebugMenu console.
The module has now been updated to version 1.12 (which hopefully fixes the Gaia Stone issue). Do let me know about any issues you still come across (including this one, if it's still a problem).
I'm playing through it now, with version 1.69 of NWN plus CEP 1.68 and the Gaia Stone doesn't drop...

Just played it again for the umpteenth time and had to vote finally. I love this series, and this is the best of the three...some really beautiful places here. Thanks for the many hours of fun.

I played this mod long ago and I wanted to get a friend into playing it but I don't seem to have a specific talk table to be able to play the mod. How do I find out what is missing and how would I get it?

Fun to see all those different tilesets, some I haven't seen since. Uses a lot of the CEP creatures. Enjoyable in many ways. Funnest of the three as votes show. _________________________ The road to Ravenloft is paved with good intentions.
Q --- I realize and appreciate that you don't have the time for further fixes, but could you please post where are the items are found (e.g., the Prismatic Thread)? A lot of people seem to be having problems finding various items, and given your post about NWN/CEP version issues, it would be very helpful to know where items are. Thanks, Keith.
"I'm having similar trouble to a previous poster - I can't leave an entry area, this time in the Heart of the Beast area. Do a dm_jumptopoint "60.0 60.0 beast2"
You must use floating point notation for the coordinates.

I am stuck at the Koa entrance. Can't get in. at all. I tried the suggestion of DebugMode, dm_jumptopoint. I tried using numbers after the jumpto command...I even went into the toolset and used the x,y coordinates for the numbers to get into the area, but no luck. Can anyone offer a cure? I hate to stop now. I am playing the Diamond edition, it that has any baring on the problem. Thanks

I have just finished the trilogy. In general, a very good epic campaign. And MTS 3 is even better than previous 2 modules. But unfortunately, there is a bug regarding ancient note quest. It was really annoying for me. If the author has been dealt with that problem, I would have given 1 point higher rating to this mod.

I am having the same problem as surfboar on the 6th note. The dialogue box only appears for a moment and I cannot interact with it. Is there any way to solve this?
Posted by dj1 at 2006-07-03 13:06:38 Voted 10.00 on 07/03/06
We played this trilogy ages ago as an alternate continuation of our original campaign characters though, unfortunately, we neglected to vote. We remedy that now. We have searched far and wide for excellent multiplayer mods and this is, by far, the best epic quest on the vault. _________________________ "In life, one and one don't make two. Brilliant mod! Took me a few months on and off to finish the entire campaign 1-3.

great work! nice terrian, good custom monsters, great quests, cool plot, i loved this mod, but i hated the download time....
I am having a real problem triggering the chat dialog on the fifth musical note on the ruins near the pirate captain. I pass back and forth over the spot and I get a single frame with the dialog box, but I can't catch it fast enough to interact. Any ideas?

There is a thread with the seven notes locations buried in this thread. As for the two item drops, people have been having version conflicts when using the updated CEP and version of NWN. As much as I would like to, I do not have the time to fix things every time the CEP people muck with their pointer tables, especially if I want to get my next trilogy prepped for design.
