Now interacts with NWN so you can read standard and custom palettes, compile scripts, export to .erf or save directly to module.
Examples of new features in 2.3:
Many new 1.67 functions, such as:
Trap related functions
Appearance related functions
SetName!
Much, much more!
Some bug-fixes.
This is a tool for creating scripts for use in NWN. It covers many of the basic functions that are used frequently in modules, as well as some, perhaps, less frequent ones.
The program is suited for newbies who can't make these scripts themselves as well as skilled scripters who don't want to make the same, similar scripts all the time. It has most of the features of the toolset's script wizard, and much more (this works everywhere, not just in conversation). And it is all integrated in an EASY TO USE WINDOWS ENVIRONMENT - if you know absolutely no scripting, you should be able to use this anyway! The program is just a single file.
The program is released under the GNU General Public License, which basically means you can use it, edit the source code (which is available for download right here as well), and distribute it whichever way you want. The GNU GPL is a very standard open source license, which doesn't limit your use of the software in any way, au contraire, in fact, it lets you do just about anything. If you want to read the License before downloading, it is available as a text file download from this site.
So far I have found this quite useful. I have read the entire manual, and while it was pretty straight forward, I could use a bit more help on some of the other functions. Is there a longer version of the manual, or a place I can go to get more in depth instructions? I'm a bit thick when it comes to this stuff.

Agreed. This program taught me to script. Still does, actually. Hmm, now some enterprising young programmer just needs to update it to 1.69. _________________________ stuff

This program has been of huge help to me in crafting scripts for my modules. They are extremely user-friendly and indepth. Thank you. Are you ever going to update it for NWN2? There are some scripts which are a little different. _________________________ male members of tall races should never mess with a dwarf with a spiked helmet.

This program should've been included in a patch, it's that compulsory. You've saved me untold hours of time, and taught me scripting. Thank you! _________________________ I knowing the teachings of Zerthimon, I have become stronger.

After playing Neverwinter since it was released, I've finally taken the plunge with the NWN2 toolset found myself completely , absolutely baffled by scripting. But after downloading this fantastic program, I'm back up running - relatively - smoothly - its absolutely awesome! Why didn't Bioware include something like this in the toolset release? I wouldn't be surprised if scripting was the main thing that puts people off creating their own adventures - its like trying to read write ancient egyptian! Maybe we could do with a seperate score from NWN2 users to show how much its still being used despite being "out of date"? _________________________ "Cor- a Beholder, Just think of the XP!"; Dave the Barbarian in the Demonweb pits, long ago.
