This is from the final battle of "True Colors Of A Hero". Its a play on the theme from the World Map. Basically, with the World Map theme summing up the "Quest" as a whole, this aims to reference it and give it that "all or nothing" dramatic feel.
Might not be useful for that many, but I hope you enjoy it. I had loads of fun making this! :D

Updated - Now with new orchestral sounds. I think it sounds better. What do you think?

Hey Ugleberg - thanks for the vote! As for the comments - strange you should say that! This was reshuffled to be the "final fight" of Chapter 2, as opposed to the absolute final fight, and I was planning on writing a more "epic" version of this to finish the mod on. However, I didn't really want to write a piece of music for a part of the game that was only roughly down on paper.

It`s good but not dramatic enough to fit the "final fight". Maybe it is too soft and missing more orchestral-drums and some really loud and deep base -og some sort...

Eli Dirkx: Cubase SX (an old version though - I don't like change!), Edirol Orchestral VSTi and EWQLSO Silver. To be honest, whilst the EWQLSO Silver seemed to make a massive difference when I switched some instruments over to it, the Edirol original version sounds almost as good. I love EWQLSO Silver though - there's quite a few really nice instruments in there. :) Thanks for the votes everyone! And...I only just found out about this AME thing, and i'm shocked! Thanks to whoever nominated me! :) Also....there IS more music on the way! :)

Can you tell me which programs exactly you used for this one? I'd like to know, because I'm currently working on music for a module of my own right now, and SynthFont's not my best friend in some cases. _________________________ No, I am NOT a Lotus Assassin! Definitely a super final battle track, and possibly the best track out there that I have found for this kind of purpose. _________________________ Works of B G P Hughes: Link AME Chairman

Dale Patten - that should suffice. Just remember, the EWQLSO Silver has a load of controllers that you can use with it. And if your machine struggles with the amount of tracks you're using (or want to use) then mixdown 2 halves of the song, containing half the tracks each, then re-combine them in a wave editor (you may have to drop their levels in order to get them to work). I had that problem and it worked for me, but it did take a few attempts to get the balance right. Also in respect to getting the EWQLSO sounds to work, try mixing different soundsets up. And don't be afraid to drop in samples to (even awful low-fi "got it off a dodgy site" sample. A simple bass "click" sample (ala 22kHz dodgy website bassdrum sample) can make a string stab really stand out, if you mix it in well. Thanks for the vote and comment! :)

wow, it sounds great. Ive been trying to get my battle music to sound like that. Cakewalk and EWQLSO Silver are the only programs that I use though.
