This is from the final battle of "True Colors Of A Hero". Its a play on the theme from the World Map. Basically, with the World Map theme summing up the "Quest" as a whole, this aims to reference it and give it that "all or nothing" dramatic feel.
Might not be useful for that many, but I hope you enjoy it. I had loads of fun making this! :D

Updated - Now with new orchestral sounds. I think it sounds better. What do you think?
Yeah, I was a Cakewalk supporter for many, many years. But in the early days I ended up getting sick of the lack of VST support (with their focus on DXI etc. ). so I switched. :) -Bluepowder - I've been using the EWQLSO Silver a lot more now and although its great and definitely an improvement, its not perfect. I've found that the snare lacks any body at all, the lack of viola sounds is a little annoying (viola being one of my favourites by far) and the Spiccato strings a little....abrasive. I guess i'm just too used to the Edirol sounds in those respects, but I've felt, along with others, that mixing both orchestral soundsets together produces the best results. For instance, in this track, using both Martele from EWQLSO and Spiccato from Edirol really mixed very nicely and achieved the effect I was looking for.

Oh, if you did say it before, pardon. Nah, I only ment the program which you used ;)

bluepowder - The Gold edition contains more instruments and articulations. I'd say it's probably worth it, OR getting the Silver and the XP with it, because there are a few articulations that I feel i'd like to have (for instance, the QLegato ones for strings / horns / woodwinds). Xard - thanks Xard! I made this in Cubase (I think i said that before! doh!). Um...using my keyboard and computer? I guess thats the best answer I can give. I'm not sure if you meant something else? This should be updated soon with the new and improved sounds. :)

If you ask from me, this is awesome :) How did you create this?

Hey clarky Do you think the QL Gold is worth it? Or aren't there too many differences between the Silver and Gold Edition? When I last saw the QL Siver some months ago (in Germany) it was pretty expansive, but the price has probably dropped a lot since then, like it always does with software in general. I'll check it out then =) And I think you deserve the vote, cause I enjoyed your composition much more than most stuff that's in the hall of fame! _________________________ I'm a prof. composer/sound designer. Blue - I use Cubase. All my work used the Edirol Orchestral VSTi (which sadly is all darn synthesized!). I've now got the Quantum Leap Silver which should help a lot. Its not very expensive really. Thanks for the vote!

Hey there! You've done a great job with this theme, I loved it! What samples did you use? And which sequencer? I write music myself, but I've got no decent orchestral sampler. Quantum Leap would be awesome, but who can afford this... Anyway, here's your vote! _________________________ I'm a prof. composer/sound designer. Link to my myspace

Great piece. Made me want to use my broadsword. Then I realised I would probably find myself vulnerable to fire of wrath. Those damn mages! Seriously though, an accomplished bit of music which rouses the spirit and provokes feelings of duty, valour, and the cold steel bite of sated betrayal... CONTINUE

Any votes? (note - votes help me to decide whether or not to post more music. An absence of votes = my music is THAT bad! :S )
