Crafted Ammo, Thrown Weapons, and Enchanted Bows v1.20
This allows for Arrows, Bolts, and Bullets, Throwing Axes, Shurikens, and Darts to be crafted out of various metal materials and for ranged weapons to be enchanted with Enhance, Damage Bonuses, and other enchants.
Ammo can now be crafted from these materials: Adamantine, Cold Iron, Darksteel, Iron (normal ammo), Mithral, and Alchemical Silver. This allows ranged weapons to bypass the Damage Reduction that many creatures have. Arrows and Bolts take 1 ingot, 1 wooden plank, and 1 ammo mold to create a stack of arrows or bolts. Bullets take 1 ingot and 1 ammo mold to create a stack of bullets.
Thrown Weapons can now be crafted from these materials: Adamantine, Cold Iron, Darksteel, Iron (normal ammo), Mithral, and Alchemical Silver. This allows thrown weapons to bypass the Damage Reduction that many creatures have. It takes 1 ingot, 1 wooden plank, and 1 throwing mold to create a stack of throwing axes. It takes 1 ingot and 1 throwing mold to create a stack of darts or shurikens.
Ranged Weapons can now be enchanted with the following properties (their recipes are the same as for melee weapons): Damage Bonus (all flavors), Enhance Bonus (all flavors), Keen, Holy Avenger, and Visual Effect.
Module developers and PW's can add these to their world by adding the molds and ammo/thrown blueprints to a merchant.
Crafting ammo and thrown weapons takes the following Craft Weapon skill values:
Version history:
Version 1.11 fixes the invalid recipes for thrown weapons in the override and hak version and all of the recipes for the Single Player version.
Version 1.10 adds Thrown weapons to crafting system. A single player, no console command version has been posted.
Version 1.20 is MotB compatible and requires MotB to use.
Version 1.21 is a fix for the single player only download that allows for six of the weapons (including light crossbow) to be crafted again.
This is the hak version intended for module development and PWs. It includes the Hak file for the 2das and an erf for the scripts, mold UTIs, and ammo UTIs. Requires MotB.
This is a special override version that is intended for single player use including the official campaign/expansions. With this version you can craft ammo and thrown weapons with existing molds and no longer requires the console to create ammo. A special readme is included with which ingredients are needed to craft this way. Requires MotB.
ah sweet! This makes playing a two handed weapon using ranger a dream Thank you!

Great add-on. I love being able to keep my archers supplied with arrows, and with the MoTB enchanting they can deal some wicked damage.

very nice, really needed oh, motb does indeed have glove enchanting.

I can take a look at it. I thought MotB added glove enchanting of some kind but I'll need to dig back into the data to see. _________________________ My Website

This looks like impressive work. I don't suppose you'd be willing to add a Monk Glove add on?

This is perfect! It's what archery has needed from the beginning. This should be in an official patch. My archery focused Ranger is now viable, well if he had decent spells. *wink*wink* Amazing job, Kaedrin.

This is a must have hack. It's one of the things that always baffled me with NWN2, that you could enchant almost everything else but ranged weapons. As was said earlier it makes a archer a viable character type to play again. Thank you Kaedrin.

Excellent work! It make classes like bow focus ranger or arcane archer viable now.

Version 1.20 has been posted and is now MotB compliant (and requires MotB). No distress was caused, I'm just not sure I have enough time to update the TCC project, especially given the extensive changes MotB makes to the crafting 2das. _________________________ My Website
