This module is designed to be a simple and quick way to test builds. All of the merchants are in a single room, this is by design to limit walking distance with an attached danger room.
The rooms are very bare to reduce load times and system drain as this was originally designed for a friend who has low systems spec, heck they are running this on a Geforce 5500 card which is not officially supported because it is so slow.
The latest version of this mod will always be located at "nwvault.ign.com"
Module features: Gold Giver, XP Gain, Merchants who sell all items in the game including limited edition and pre-order items, melee and ranged weapon, armor, jewelry smith to add properties to items, alignment shifter, and workbenches for crafting.
Ability to add or remove any feat that the game supports to your character.
For testing of characters it offers a danger room where you can summon monsters to fight against to test out your builds. Monsters summoned are based off your level or of a selected difficulty level. You can also set the danger room to auto-spawn new monsters when all the old ones are dead.
There is also a boxing dummy where you can adjust AC, Damage Resistance, Spell Resistance,Saving Throws, feats, and immunities. Additionally you can control his ability to fight back: miss chance, BAB, attack bonus, and damage bonus. Every 6 seconds while fighting it will list the amount of damage you have done, # hits, average damage, and min and max damage.
1. Updated Charlie's mod to latest version 1.15
2. Added a 5,000,000 gold option
3. Moved danger room area a little to make a more safe space for buffing
See JEGs Training Module Readme.txt for past updates
I have problem, when load this module in multiplayer(online), then he work only for 20 level, why that?, in single mode work normal: 1-30 levels, in online mode only to 1-20 levels work..., bug, or what? _________________________ My name is Igor, i from Russian Federation, my favorite games: "NWN", and: "NWN2"... .

An excellent module for building and equipping characters for different modules. The part that really does it for me is a feat giver. It's been a life saver for those annoying modules that strip your character to an equivalent of a newborn baby.

ok I managed to track down and older version (v14) and it appears to be the same one I used before. So its simply the latest version of charlie that is giving me grief, so now I can give the module its proper rating 10.

I updated to the latest version and the item crafting no longer works no options come up in the second window for possible modifications if the second window comes up at all. Near as I can tell the entire charlie item crafting system doesn't work on my computer could you repost the pre-charlie edition as I stupidly saved over mine before checking if the item crafting still worked.

Near perfect training mod. I use it all the time. Sometimes I cant get the magic item guy to work, but otherwise, really useful

Whatever you do, don't touch the Necromicon because inside awaits the Evil Dead :) Just kidding, I think it does nothing.
This mod is a must have because of its light weight and good range of functionality. I just use it whenever I need to test something quick. In fact, I keep both version (13 and 15), because every now and then when I need the presence of a companion for my spell test, Marvin is always there. I love that Marvin guy :D

So does that necronomicon actually do anything? other then cost a but load of gold?

Always an excellent resource.

Fabulous! Everything's working great again. Thanks!!
I have updated this to the latest patch level and also incorporated Charlie's latest version into the code. I'm hoping that corrects the issue with the other expansions. I cannot test as I dont have them :(

Oh, fwiw, that's from a fully patched game standpoint.

When attempting to "pimp" items, the GUI doesn't display at all for me since these installations.

It's a shame this doesn't seem to work with Storm of Zehir or Mystery of Westgate. This is an awesome module.

Still a very awesome mod all around :D
I ran into a problem when I bought the new(est) SoZ expansion. I use version 14a of this mod btw. I can get everything (including the feat chooser - tho i don't use...i tested it after my prob) to work except for the item enhancement part (the enchanter). I talk to the guy, and the boxes on both sides come up (for enchanting the item), but i can't remove any weapon/armor properties (none listed) & there's nothing listed on the right side (for item properties to add) either. This might just be because of the new unsupported expansion I installed. I tried re-installing the mod, but same outcome. Any ideas??? Even though SoZ isn't supported yet, I'd thought I'd post here just letting everyone (especially Sol) know... _________________________ My "Cyb3rChiller" Rig

Excellent mod, thank you very much! If anything I would add is the ability to get say 5mil gold at a time vs the set 1. (For crafting wild things) lol. ty again!
I have been thinking about actually playing the expansion Mask of the Betrayer and thought I would pop on to see what is going on. Nice to know people are still finding this module useful. Anyway back to answering some questions people have posted
TheReverendEdge, are you remembering to export the character?
Ancaruin, I can not add the "Storm of Zehir" items as I dont have that expansion. If/When I purchase it, I'm sure to add the items to this module.
djWandererFX, which version of the mod + NWN do y have? 13e will only allow characters up to 20th level.
Catitude, I would love to add Charlies Appearance changer but didnt due to the size requirements it would add to this module. I kept hoping that NWN2 dev team would allow an easier way of changing appearances for in game armor, weapons, etc. Maybe I should make another optional download with that content in so people could grab if they want?

Love it! Simple to use and very humorous. I just have one prob, I create a character, with some good gear, when I get to the character list, he's a lvl 1! Now, I'm thinking it's something my dumb self is either doing, or not doing. Please, can anyone help me out here?

Still a great mod, are you going to add the Storm of Zehir items to the shops any time soon. Use this mod alot to "cash out" after adventures and clean characters up. _________________________ "Some have to dance, some have to kill" - My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult

Hey John,
Just wanted to tell you what a killer mod you made here. I love the humor and the overall setup. I play nwn2 with my significant other and when I showed her a tour of your character creator, we laughed till we cracked a rib. The leveler with the stunted growth was too much. ;) The Linux comment was great too. Not just funny but functional; the danger room is great for testing leveling configurations, as is the boxing room. I compared your work to Vordan's Hero Creator, and while his stuff is ok, I am definitely a loyal fan of your mod over that one. And don't worry about the naysayers; like the immortal Colonel Jack O'Neill once quipped, "I don't trust anybody without a sense of humor."

Are you planning on including Charlies Appearance Changer to this as well?
Very well created BTW, especially for those of us who don't have the "Fun Tickets" for a high-end system... Thanx bunches!

Charlies Item hak makes this forge the best. The trainer conversations are acceptable but could be better.

Rated 6 out of 10.
The module does the job, but the forced attempt at humour gets old fast. Just loose the "humour".
In addition there is no sense in splitting all gear by topic in menu options as this leads to a lot of annoying and unnecessary clicking.
The module does the job but that's it. I'm looking for a less irritating module though.

Yes, a little cover in the danger room by the switch. You don't have to make the map larger. Just put a little wall up and maybe an extra 10 feet of space if the makes the switch area cramped.
