Run TlkEdit2.exe to edit Nwn2 files and TlkEdit.exe for Nwn1. Do not edit Nwn2 files in Nwn1 mode and vice versa as this will result in broken tlk and gff files.
Features :
copy/paste between different TLK, GFF or 2DA files
search & replace ( with regular expressions ) in TLK, GFF and 2DA files
undo/redo in TLK, GFF & 2DA editors
spell checking in TLK and GFF editors (dictionaries must be downloaded separately)
TlkEdit is also available in the NWN1 section of the Vault :
Im tryed to modidy a haracter file. but if I jsut open it and save it I create a 0 ko file. this dont wort anymore. was working before.. maybe the expention changed something ? thx

Quick question! As you graciously allowed, I have downloaded the TLKEdit2 and your excellent mod, and have begun trying to balance the races more. However, no matter how I change the stat adjustment fields, the changes do not affect the game. I always save the changes, and the changes are still there when I reload the file. Any idea of what I'm doing wrong?

I am unable to edit the nwn2_tips.2da. I get an error: "The file could not be opened. Broken 2DA File: found 22 fields (expected 8) on line '81*******" This is the nwn2_tips.2da from data/2DA_X1.zip from Patch 1.13. Another 2DA editor opens this 2DA fine. @Kaeldorn: Not to say that you're necessarily wrong, but the only time I encounter that error is when I've got enough things open in it to max out the memory tlkedit2 seems to be set to use (it seems that the memory limit is somewhere around 130-200 MB of RAM)
