Run TlkEdit2.exe to edit Nwn2 files and TlkEdit.exe for Nwn1. Do not edit Nwn2 files in Nwn1 mode and vice versa as this will result in broken tlk and gff files.
Features :
copy/paste between different TLK, GFF or 2DA files
search & replace ( with regular expressions ) in TLK, GFF and 2DA files
undo/redo in TLK, GFF & 2DA editors
spell checking in TLK and GFF editors (dictionaries must be downloaded separately)

Kaeldorn - Thanks a ton. Shazbotian - I have the same problem on many Haks that are not created using TLKEdit and I have not found a good solution. The NWN1 Creature Conversion is a biggie for me. _________________________ Segal The Depths Link

I just wanted to state that I found a way to solve the following error: "Error in java launcher. Error occured while calling main method in Java class org/jl/nwn/editor/EditorServer" It's the combination of Vista + (new versions of) Java + TlkEdit that gives problems. You can set TlkEdit2.exe to run in Windows XP (SP2) combatibility mode by right clicking the file -> properties -> combatibility tab. Select Windows XP from the pulldown menu. It should work then. And I'll immediately vote a 9.75 because this is a really handy tool!

I downloaded the dll and I am now able to run this app. However, I cannot edit my spells.2da, it is complaining about extra columns? Hrm... but, I can get at the tlk, which is the important thing atm.

By the way, I have Java 6

Does this thing work on Vista? I try to run TlkEdit2, and get a message that it cannot run because it is missing MSVCR71.dll. I'll try to locate that dll, but any info anyone can provide would be welcome.

First time user here, and it seems to be newb-friendly. Which is a huge plus. If that tool helps me to get through the trials of creating my first custom TLK I'll get back and vote. But so far thumbs up! _________________________ Joinable NPCs in IWD2. I'm *not* kidding!

Doesn't seem to support NWN2 .pfb files -- they're gff's too. _________________________ Thought thinks itself.

A very nice tool, but with room for some improvement yet. It is my preferred 2da editor, and I give it an 8.5 because that feels right. ~Elrahc _________________________ "Ahh! Opposable digits!"

I really wish there was an edit button. :/ Anyways the fault was mine, I was editing the OLDER .2da files. So far everything works great!
