Description
B3 - Palace of the Silver Princess
This is the module B3 - Palace of the Silver Princess. It is intended for a begining party of adventurers. This remake is based on the work of the author Steve. I changed a few things, removed some empty spaces and added resting restrictions and respawn penalties. Then I made changes to a number of scripts and in order to prevent backtracking I added an item to simplify shoping.
The P&P module was originally made by Tom Moldvay and Jean Wells for TSR 1981. Some minor changes has been made to the introduction. Otherwise it is very much like the original.
Introduction You have heard rumors about the city of Haven. That a dragon rider appeared in the skies over the valley and that he landed and entered the palace of the silver princess holding a shining red ruby. And now all contact is broken and a red fog has settled over Haven. Do you have the courage and strength to find out the fate of the Palace of the Silver Princess?
@Sajiki Because CEP2 uses a different tlk file, for older modules u need the older cep1.53. So it's handy as you have both versions of CEP.

I ran into a game annihilating bug. I just hit level 8 with my wizard, with the 4 henchman you can get with an evil char, they are leveled to the max(7). I'm right outside Dreylan keep, and then, when I try to rest, it says You may not rest for another 25 billion minutes. WTF? It has to be something with your module scripts, because this is the first time I have EVER seen something like this, and I had rested 5 minutes before that perfected fine. Any friggin' clue whats going on here? it seems to be ingrained in the save game now too, so theres nothing to go back to. _________________________ So what if I tied Billy's legs to the flag pole and handed him a hacksaw and told him he had 5 minutes to find a cure for the anthrax I put in his milk.

Oh, and, what the hell is a MD5 file? Never encountered that before. As for NWN toolset having a programmer's manual, one actually was put out that explains all the various functions of the toolset. Hmmm... just reading about it and looking at the screenshots alone has tweaked my interest. That doesnt happen often. Looks like there was good attention to detail by the screens too, forested area actually looks... forested, and the swamp actually looks like a swamp, kudos right there. Now for disarming traps, would only rogues get the xp or say you had a super-smart wizard with lots in DT would he get xp for disarming it too? I've played a few mods where a rogue would get the xp for disarming but another class wouldnt... seemed pretty stupid to me. _________________________ So what if I tied Billy's legs to the flag pole and handed him a hacksaw and told him he had 5 minutes to find a cure for the anthrax I put in his milk.

Comment on Henchmen system Yes, it has issues. Replacing it will not be easy. The death system should be changed out too. I estimate about 6-12 hours to get everything working, and another 3-6 hours of testing and bug fixing. Work and the new baby are keeping me busy as of late, thus I don't have time for this. My recommendation is to save often and don't die. That said, I've tested for many hours and the henchman and death system have worked just fine.

Reply to ScorpioChess, On faction errors, in my testing I only had minor trouble with faction issues. Can you provide a repeatable sequence that replicates the problem. Or, if you've done some editor work, tell me specifically what you think need changed.
