Oh no! A fish has mysteriously vanished in the mess area! Can you sort out the mess?
Don't miss this if you like Pythons!
The download contains an optional character to play with. Put the inspectorcheese file in your localvault folder if you want to try that.
Final version.
I loved this! Very funny and well crafted little mod. Good characterisation, and the storyline suited the critters perfectly. Dialogue at all times was well written, though I thought there was an occasional superfluous option or two. Resolution was great! Thanks for some fun, nereng!

Hi, Having veiwed a few more now, I feel the score I awarded you could have been a little better. I still feel the same comments I made apply, but I got a much greater sense of character from these Kobolds than some of the other entries I've viewed. I think an 8.25 would have been more realistic under the circumstances. Having seen how ugly the boards have been getting lately though, I'm a little hesitant to go in and officially alter my score in case there are screams of favouritism. I would however advise others to pop by and vote for your entry...don't be put off by the module name...this is truly entertaining. _________________________ View my blog regarding the Relbonian Chronicles project --> Link

@Dallo: lol Well, let me amend what I said, then: "If you are a community friend of mine, DON´T go giving me a 10 just because you think I´m a nice guy or something. Instead, make a well considered rating, and explain why you rated it that way." The reason is that I have seen too many controversies on this site, with accusations flyinh back and forth about collusion and cheating. That´s just a scene that I want to stay away from. But maybe I should have more trust in my friends, so please do rate my module even if you are a friend of mine! Cheers! :)

nereng, you said: "I'm sorry I didn't talk to you about this before, but I do NOT want my community friends to vote for this module. I'm just grateful you gave it a lower score than the first voter! The reason is of course that this is not the "Who Has the Most Friends Competition", but a writing competition. You do seem to have given a well considered and honest score, though, so hopefully there'll be no talk of collusion." What are you on about, mate? Don't you think we can be objective in such matters? Most of your buddies are probably also friendly with any number of entrants. Anyway, I'm gonna DL this and give it an honest vote, so there! *pokes out tongue*

Thanks, Jack! Getting that reaction, if only from a single person, is enough for me! Oh, and to new players: The rules said no haks, so I couldn't put in the music I wanted to. So this is what I want you to do: Turn the music off and hum the theme from Flying Circus while you're playing. Have fun!

I decided to vote on this module, because after several days of playing other entries, I still remember chuckling at this one. My vote is impartial, and based simply on the fact that I enjoyed the Monty Pythonesque humor and atmosphere of this work. Sure, a few things could have been smoothed out. The ending felt a tad abrupt, and a bit shallow. Still, I found it an enjoyable little romp, and in place of the kobold faces and voices, my warped mind kept placing Cleese and the others. Thanks for a good laugh, nereng! _________________________ My other sword is a +5 Holy Avenger JFK Swimming Skinmesh Fish Link JFK Makeshift Weapons Link

Amusing reference to Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life". Fun characters and good dialog. The role of the PC was perhaps a bit too linear and unidimensional.

Good fun, a labour of love, no doubt. The conversations were good as were the interactions: the raised eyebrows, raised voice questioning, and their respective laughable impacts on the NPCs. Per this style of humor an utterly pointless endeavor if you're a plot focused person (unfortunately, I am); but I don't miss the style and fun of the piece. The NPCs were well drawn.

8.00 FIND THE FISH: (28TH TESTED MODULE) My intention is to give feedback on both the writing (competition) and design (not necessarily competition) for every module I have the chance to play. NB: Judging any material is always subject to personal taste. I have tried hard to be as objective as possible and apologise if I have appeared harsh in any of my scores. WRITING: This was a hard one to judge. At face value, I thought it was great fun and would have scored it higher than I did. However, my scoring is amended by criteria I am judging the others. (Including conversation choices and general interaction between the NPC?s and potential other objects found.) The characters were fun and had distinct personalities and I enjoyed the investigative style of playing. DESIGN: I thought it was very well done. I enjoyed the cut scenes and thought both the start and end of the module were very well done and served as a good example of how this sort of thing should be done. FINAL: A great module to play and good fun. (The most fun to date.) Subject to how good other modules are, I may even come back and give this a slightly higher vote than I have currently given it. MY SCORE SYSTEM (IMHO): 5 Not up with the competition. 5 - 6 Average. 7 - 8 Above average. > 8 An exceptional piece _________________________ World of Althéa Blog: Link
