28JAN09 Added an update to the ERF Skullhak_2_plac_v26a.rar Fixes some missing appearances.
18JAN09 Updated to include newer RWS content and support for SOZ.
Files:
skullhak_2_a_v26.rar, skullhak_2_b_v26.rar, skullhak_2da_v26.rar (Extract to your hak folder)
SkullOverride_v26.rar (Builders extract to override)
skullhak_2_icons_v26.rar (Builders extract to your nwn2intalldirectory\NWN2Toolset\Tiles directory)
Skullhak_2_plac_v26.rar (Erf for builders, if you have used the older ones, I suggest you, extract these files and save your mod as a folder, then copy these over into your mod and select yes to all to overwrite, else if you import you may be clicking yes ALOT)
03JUN08 I have added in RWS Dungeons into this combined hak. The following files have changed Players: Skullhak_2_b_rar, Skullhak_2_2da.rar Builders: Skullhak_2_plac_v25.rar, SkullOverride_v25.rar
16MAY08 Developers, I have modified the Skullhak_2_plac_v23.rar and fixed the blank appearances contained in that placeable erf. Please download Skullhak_2_plac_v23a.rar and import it, You will have to click yes alot of times to overwrite the placeables. I wish I knew how to disabled that.
Version 2.4 Adds RWS Cathedral, latest City Hak update, RBRuins, Building Construction Kit II, and BCK v2.1. Credits listed below. Be sure to vote on the developers page so they keep up the great work!
I have changed the structure of the hak. I have decided to split out the 2da files into a seperate hak and split the hak into two pieces for ease of use.
This is a comblined hak of the awesome custom content that I use for the PW for Waterdeep, Underdark and Skullport. I figured since it was such a hassle to get this thing together that I would share.
Players:
Download the Skullhak_2_a_v24.rar (Haks are extracted and placed in the my documents\nwn2\haks directory)
Download the Skullhak_2_b_v24.rar (Haks are extracted and placed in the my documents\nwn2\haks directory)
Download the Skullhak_2_2da_v24.rar (Haks are extracted and placed in the my documents\nwn2\haks directory)
Developers(Builders):
1. Download the Skullhak_2_a_v24.rar (Haks are extracted and placed in the my documents\nwn2\haks directory)
2. Download the Skullhak_2_b_v24.rar (Haks are extracted and placed in the my documents\nwn2\haks directory)
3. Download the Skullhak_2_2da_v24.rar (Haks are extracted and placed in the my documents\nwn2\haks directory)
4. SkullOverride_v24.rar (Override folder placed in the my docs\nwn2\override dir)
5. Skullhak_2_icons_v23.rar (This file is place in your nwn2intalldirectory\NWN2Toolset\Tiles directory. It will show the icons for the new tilesets within the toolset)
6. Skullhak_2_plac_v23.rar (This file needs to be imported into you module to create the placeables within the toolset)
7. Skullhak_2_plac_v24.rar (This file needs to be imported into you module to create the placeables within the toolset)
5. After the files are in the proper places, open you module, click Tools|Module Properties. In the right hand pane under Hak Packs click ... and then add the hak to the module. ( Ensure that the skullhak_2_2da.hak is the LAST hak listed)
6. If you have not imported the erf, yet while the module is open click File|Import find the erf and import it.
I had to re-assign many of the placeables differnt numbers in the 2das because the hak builders overlapped much of their content. Since the Itemplacesables was the largest (and I'm lazy) that is the primary one that I did not move)
If you already use one of the original creator placeable haks, be careful when trying to use this one. You may have to replace the existing placeable within your module. I have provided an erf to add these models with the appearance locations that I changed them to, but again if the placeable is alrady placed in your mod then using this may change the appearance. You can manually change it back or replace the placeable from the one imported.

This is an ERF containing the associated placeables with the updated appearances. Remember that any preexisting placed objects from one of the included haks will need it's appearance changed. This ERF contains all placeables.
Builders you need extract these and place in your \my docs\nwn2\override\ folder. They are the combined 2da files for all the haks. They include tilesets, tiles, metatiles, doortypes, texturetilefloor, texturetilewall, tilecolor and texturetileceiling.

OK, Im trying to get into the placeables 2da to add some other goodies but when I open the file, or try to, I get the error
"This file could not be opened: Broken 2DA file: found 52 fields (expected 26) on line "3002 HangingSign02 (...)"
Any ideas? OR how can I add more placeables without editing this 2DA?

Totally non-heinous! A must have.

Deadeye, for the love of Pete, please fix it for dmguild as he seems to be very busy and I just downloaded this for building and am in need of fixes you mentioned.
Thanks.
Oh, I vote 9 for the hak, plus 1 on the expectation that either dmguild or Deadeye_Daxx will fix the items listed below by Deadeye_Daxx.

Excellent work dmguild! I'll use these haks in my PW. But one question: when will you fix the missing textures & appearance errors from placeables? We are excited for use your new future update without errors, but you don't post here since some months. Are there any news about this project?
Best regards, I vote you a 10.
(Sorry for my english, I am spanish)

LOL, 8 months later I noticed your request. I'll be happy to get that info to ya, if you still need it lol.

Any update on the new format? I am using this so extensively it's a must have for my building. _________________________ Shadow Thief: Crimmor and Path of Evil blog Link
I will work on getting the new hak structure uploaded/linked here.
It will included EVERYTHING that skullport currently uses.
I will provide instructions on which haks need to be used for what purposes and which 2da files need to be used with them.
So that if you just want the placeables and tilesets, you will only need a subset of what I will post.

I have some bug reports, how would you like me to relay them? Here? Register on your skullport pw? _________________________ Shadow Thief: Crimmor and Path of Evil blog Link
Personally I think that would be a great addition, dmguild. Hope to see the new content.

I'm just making this the basis for all my work instead of futzing around making my own haks. _________________________ Shadow Thief: Crimmor and Path of Evil blog Link
NWN_DM,
I had to reorg my haks for my PW which are listed above (from my website). They contain EVERYTHING whereas the haks listed here (vault) are only for tilesets and placeables.
I should probably relist the my PW haks here, but I was trying to keep them seperate as my pw haks contain alot more other things like armor, weapons, prcs, races, etc.. than this vault submission.
I can change and upload everything that my PW uses if you all want, then you can either use it all or pick and choose. It's up to you all. let me know. _________________________ Keeps calling me it's master, but I feel like it's slave. Haulin me faster and faster to an early early grave. NOTE, the following hardlinks have been updated since their first upload. Don't worry they are small.
skullhak_mdb_cre
skullhak_dds_head
skullhak_mdb_hair
skullhak_dds_hair
skullhak_mdb_head
Next delete the Skullport_2da and Skullport_mdb folders from you override directory and then download these and extract to your override directory.
Skullport_2da.rar
Skullport_mdb.rar
Which list should I be downloading from as a module builder and which list should I be telling my players to download from?
If the answer is the one here on NWVault, no problem. If the answer is the one on your webpage, what order should the haks go in?

Awesome collection! :3 I will definitely try all of these in the future... I'm just testing at the moment though. And I downloaded Toupoun's City Hak, but when I use it, I cannot see any of the SoZ placeables. Is that fixed in this combo all-in-one?
Would it be possible to also get a separate fix for the hak I mentioned? _________________________ Link Crystals of The Lost Developement Blog

First of all thank you so much for sharing this work! Theres a special private area in heaven for such as you! I'm having a problem importing new placeables into a bod with your hak. I'm trying to bring Botumy's great Hobbit House into a mod with skullhaks and seem to be unable. Yes, I'm new at this but I've tried editing 2das, making a hak for it, ect...with no luck. I can import it in a new mod but not one with skull. Can you please point out the stupid mystake I'm making? Many thanks
I tested this out and I must say it is very nice - but still very buggy. There are '2D MISSING TEXTURE' errors on top of some placeable structures - battlements, towers, etc. When this is in a more stable form for SoZ 1.22, I'll definitely use it for Blood Lust. Until then - I'll hold off on voting. Thank you for creating this - please keep working on it - I'm sure it'll be AMAZING!

Deadeye thanks for the list and if you coud go thru the ruins hak and get the right sequence that would be aweseome. trying to manage this is quite mind-boggling sometimes. _________________________ Keeps calling me it's master, but I feel like it's slave. Ok I just went though every single placeable in this hak and compiled a complete list of issues. First the major issues:
- The classical placeables for BCK II dont seem to be in the hak at all
- The placeable doors are missing
- The RWS Tower Pack Placeables seems to be missing?
- There is a texture missing from Tupouns City Hak (Medieval City in Placebles Menu)
- Many of the appearances for RacerBlues Placeable Ruins seem to be off (Ill look into this in detail if you want)
And heres a list of specific placeable issues. Ive included the texture issues with the Medieval City for reference purposes.
Root of 05 - User Created Placeables Menu
Hezrou Statue hezroustat1 - no appearance
BTH Custom
Barrys towers and spikes all seem to be duplicated
City Placeables
Church Pews rws_church_pews - wrong appearance (needs to be rws_church_pews)
Pew Wall rws_pew_wall - wrong appearance (needs to be rws_pewwall)
Pulpit rws_pulpit - wrong appearance (needs to be rws_pulpit)
The ruins palceables naming conventions for their appearances are screwy. If you would like Ill go back to the original hak and try to figure out the proper appearance assignments. Hope this helps, didnt mean to create more work for ya. =D
Thanks for all your efforts, minor issues notwithstanding you saved me hours of work. Anything I can do to help, let me know.

Ive been going through the latest release and Ive found a number of problems. If you would like Ill compile a list consisting of where the placeable is in the toolset menu, its resref, and the issue. Some of them are textures, some are appearance issues and the most notable problem is that the BCK II classic placeables dont appear at all in the list. If you are interested in that list I should have it in a day or two.

Now everything is fine, thanks for the workaround!
I got issues exporting things. I updated the small erf again. It should be right this time. I didn't get a chance to get to the placeable doors. _________________________ Keeps calling me it's master, but I feel like it's slave. Haulin me faster and faster to an early early grave. Thanks for the quick update. Perhaps it's just me, but some of the posted placeables still don't work: city walls, crypt tileset: base & deco and the placeable doors; nevertheless thanks for your effort, I don't know what I would do without your skullhak.
Thanks perryn. What's funny is those placeables are fine in the mod I used to export. I have added a small erf to update the one posted. This should update each of the placeables you listed.
