Description
"The Badger the Cat and the Book."
Many wondrous tales surround the archmage Sinder Luzon and the strange experiments that are worked at her tower. In recent times no one has heard from or seen Sinder and word has spread that she has gone missing.
If these tales be true then there may yet be great treasure left behind in the tower, for any adventurer brave enough to travel there. You are one such adventurer. You find yourself now at the entrance to the tower.
(This module contains three (3) various endings which will be displayed in the dialogue.)
Thank you all for all your feedback on this module. Alas, I would have loved to show you the meeting between Felix and Sinder... Sadly, I didn't know how to make the npc's move, as my ability to script is very limited! Hehehe. As much as I tried to work with this module, many things I wanted to do, as is the case with all three of my modules, were limited or cut out by my lack of technical know how. :(

I enjoyed this module immensely! It?s funny, fresh, and clever. The lovelorn Felix is a great character; my only complaint is that I didn?t get to see the meeting between him and Sinder as a panther. There is some real potential for entertainment there. The conversations are good. They are interesting and engaging, I feel like I have real choices within them, and they flow logically. The characters are well drawn, too. These are believable characters in an intriguing situation, very good stuff! The whole thing could have been a touch longer, but as it is it feels and plays like a good side quest should (journal entries would be nice though).

I didn't really enjoy this one, while the standard of dialog wasn't bad I didn't find it to be exceptional or engaging.

Another one that said "works on all versions" when it isn't true. Without expansion set you can play it.

I am going to make a bold statement here and say that I agree with a previous voter. Out of everything I have played so far, this module is the best contender for the crown. Now that said I would like to say that it is not actually the best story I have played. Though it is a great story. It does however in every way do exactly what the BioWare contest ask of it. It follows all the rules exactly and has a great story idea. I actually laughed out loud more than once and I am not really a comedy fan. Really nice work.

Now, to be honest, I'm not usually one for comedy adventures... I'm usually into more serious affairs with any comedy input coming from irony and black humour. However, this module actually had me chuckling almost all the way through from beginning to end. The endings are, again well worth experiencing (Especailly the more feline one ;) ) There really are some absolutely classic moments in the dialogue, and overall I can pick very few weak spots in this as the mod is written in a style that I am not used to reviewing. Now, the main areas of criticism that I can direct towards this tale are mostly due to that old hobbyhorse of mine, empathic attachment to the characters... while I liked them, and they were funny that's about all they did for me... however, in the context of this genre of story it is more than enough to earn the mod a 9.25/10... getting real laughter from me while playing my PC by myself is a feat not to be snifffed at!

As a note about Nialus comments about being unclear as to why you are in the situation. The Module description on both the download page and the module description page when selecting the module to play tell you that. I think a lot of people are just clicking to play the modules without reading that part. I used that to set the scene however and let the player know why they have come.

This module was a nice improvement from the other one by this author I played; I have to say the endings were more original as was the story itself. Unfortunately the module still suffers from a bit of linear play and the unclear purpose for why I am there in the first place (Even if it is there, it's the job of the module creator to make sure I know it, if I miss it 3 times, something is wrong). But I did feel that it was more of a story that I was involved in then the last one, but I do like it when it seems like a sub quest that gives a reason for my character to be there. I'm for sometimes being thrown into something that I wasn't expecting, but at least give me a little something. Also, run your conversations through a word processor as a final step before you finish it, bad spelling and grammar really hurts. I always do this; it is good for catching errors.

Spoiler alert. This was truly entertaining and well worth the time to play it through. It gave me the opportunity to really influence event through my choices and was amusing enough that I laughed out loud at least twice. Thank you for that. On a bit of a side note, I found it pretty amusing that the panther's choice seemed to give the best of the possible endings. So, why not a perfect score? Spelling. I'm not kidding. Some of the errors were downright jarring. "Acquired" instead of "awkward"? This time, your self-vote of "10" makes a great deal more sense. Bottom-line: This is a serious (though humorous) contender for the crown. It was well worth playing.
