Great little mod, very well done. I particularly liked how you built the elevator in the mine shaft. Pretty clever, that. I hope you'll keep on building, whether it's a longer ongoing saga or even just more short pieces about this size. Not everything has to be epic in length, and this was a good reminder of that. As a general complaint, not directed at you in particular: I've always found the cut-scene scripting in NWN while good for scripted action sequences, naturally so, is not a great way to present a lot of dialogue, especially not the short, quick banter between the kobolds in your module here. A really minor nitpick at this point, though. Good job.

A lovely little mod. Poor little kobold who had to act as test pilot. May be you should give him a thicker pillow :) Clever scripting, and good dialogues made it enjoyable. Good Work! On the downside, for the labyrinth, I?ve got the same complaint as Razide. One minor thing I noticed in the end: Telling the Chief about the Goblin door, I got some XP, but the Journal entry did not change. _________________________ 33 Voicesets for NWN1 and NWN2: Link 270 Portraits for NWN2: Link

A fun little module that really demonstrates how to create immersion using visuals, dialogue, sound, and some clever scripting. Once I got into the kobold village, I was really sucked into the module. The "catapult test" and the dance at the end were particularly outstanding, and the scripting used in the labyrinth was particularly outstanding. I have only one real complaint (and two minor ones): the labyrinth was overly-large and largely empty, and thus dull to travel through, and when I had to do a ton of backtracking because I had skipped an earlier door, it became downright annoying. Also, it would have helped to put the door password in a journal entry, since it gets re-used later in the game - I had to actually exit the game and open the toolset to find it again. Also, the engineer asks you to test out a weapon, and even gives you a report card, but this is never followed-up on. It's a very minor quibble, but it stood out only because everything else in the module was so well done.

NWN-newbie, trying out mods like mad and beginning to dread those with item-overload and final fantasy appeal. (Just my taste, of course.) I played this one yesterday and found that it's just the stuff I love! I don't know anything about scripting and coding, but I know what kind of humour I like. And the dance brought tears of joy to me eyes. :'D Whish there were more mods like this, perhaps even some 'epic' mods of this kind. (Well, perhaps there are, and I just have to find them). Very sad to lose you to NWN2; and also hoping, like the others, that you do expand this one. All the best to you and your comp!

A funny, entertaining and technically *very* accomplished little module, with some great scripting on display. Excellent, and well worth an hour of anyone's time.

I have a nearly finished new version, but I'm suffering from dreadful computer problems these days. It keeps crashing on me, so I'm just glad I have a backup copy of the new version safely stashed away on a USB memory pin. The new version has two more levels and more things going on in the old ones. :) I am not saying I'm going to leave the NWN1 scene completely. It's just that I have had an idea for a SP module for years, and right now it looks like NWN2 is the best toolset to make it with. Not the easiest (by a long shot), but just the toolset that is best suited to realize my idea. I'm also considering using the Djinni (The Witcher) toolset for it. First I have to fix my stupid computer, though! Cheers! :)

Absolutely delightful! The older I become, the more I hearld anything with a complete dearth of social value! Such a great pity to lose someone of such fabulous scripting skills, an eye for whimsy and all the other virtues of a great module-builder to the techno-purists of NWN2! Even so, good luck in your endeavors and, as you hint may happen, DO consider popping back to expand this mod.

Excellent short story, with many "side plots". I really enjoyed the catapult experience; I wish the cook from "Find the fish" also lived in that village! The maze design, although simple to follow, was quite original and I look forward exploring its extended version once the contest is over.

Quote Quillmaster: "Wow! You currently rate 11 in top twenty NWN modules! Well done!" Woohoo! TOP TWENTY! *Runs around in little circles making airplane noises* I already have a version 1.01 ready with some bug-fixes and more interesting labyrinth, but I don't dare to upload it until the contest is over. Rules say one gets disqualified! Thanks for all the nice votes, folks! Cheers! :)
