Excellent short mod. I enjoyed this very much, The story was original and funny. I also ran into the bug where one of the kobolds would not know I finished, but the dance was very funny.

Not voting since I am in the contest. However, I played the mod and had a lot of fun. Very funny :) Quillmaster mirrors some points I would make, so no need to go on about that. I will add that I found a couple small issues that you might look at. Once you complete the quest, I found an NPC that gave a convo node that felt like they did not realize I had done the job. Also, even though the maze is really cool it sort of felt empty. All in all a great module and certainly entertaining :) Good luck! _________________________ Vuldrick Garrison

This is one of the funniest and fun short story mods I have played in a while, it had many challenges and took a bit to figure a few of them out. I have worked with nereng on some other projects, but play testing this one was a real joy. Good luck on this one my friend, I am certain you will do well. :o)

Great module! The Labyrinth was a bit overmuch but otherwise had a lot of fun playing this module. Like the twist at the end when you receive your reward from the kobold deity.

Extremely well done! I found a few tiny bugs with some of the dialogue triggers, and I think the labyrinth was a bit uneventful - otherwise I would score this 9.75+. Very polished, well written, and innovative. Loved the end. Best of luck!

Thanks for the nice comments and ratings, all! :) I plan to move on to NWN2 as soon as I have sewn up some NWN1 commitments, so I'm afraid there won't be any more NWN1 modules from me. However, I'm a little tempted to expand this module into a more full length experience once the contest is over. Perhaps adding several more floors to go to with the elevator and a larger labyrinth with a bunch of monsters to fight. So it would mostly be a hack and slash module, but there's nothing wrong with that, now is there? I'll agree that the labyrinth is a bit empty. I originally had a couple of encounters there, but when the beta-testers all reported taking 50 minutes and more, I panicked a little and cut away as much as I could that didn't seem essential. I did not want to make the labyrinth itself smaller, because I really wanted to showcase this labyrinth-building method. I believe you can make some hellishly difficult labyrinths this way... It would be nice to know if anyone tried this in multiplayer. I did my best to script it for two players playing coop, but there was no time for testing, so I have no idea if it will work out. @Quillmaster: I agree with you that the language of the kobolds is not consistent throughout. I would also have liked to make more role-playing conversation options for the player, and deeper personalities for the main kobold characters. Those things are among the most time-consuming aspects of module-making (for me, at least), and I simply ran out of time in the end. My original estimate that I could do this in a week was waaay wrong! Here's a little spoiler for those who read this far: there's a bonus quest if you happen to have a Pixie familiar. Try out her various conversation options! ;) Cheers!

This has things I've never seen before in NWN, and believe me I play a lot of modules! I replayed it just to see that poor kobold being catapulted one more time. Incredible! There could have been more role-playing options in the dialogues. I wish you luck in the contest and hope you make more modules in the future. _________________________ SisterCyan

I would usually agree with Quillmaster... but, though I really prefer humour only when it fits the story... well, the fact is this little mod is just great! I loved the dialogues, the NPCs, the old tale about Truth Lie, the dance... and let's not forget the Trip to the Moon (that could have been something Baron Munchhausen would try). And the maze makes you wonder why people didn't use such a simple (and effective) idea in other mods. It is a short adventure, but an entertaining one... well done and good luck in the contest!
