Description
WARNING: THIS MODULE DOES NOT CURRENTLY WORK WITH HOTU, AND MAY NOT WORK WITH v.1.61 AT ALL. I'll fix it when I can, but that involves a bunch of uninstalling/reinstalling expansions, and a friend has some of my NWN disks right now. The problem is with polymorphing into a raven to fly back to your lair, which isn't necessary to finish the mod but eliminates a LOT of walking since you go back home often to build new skeletons. In Bone Kenning you play a thanaturge, a necromancer from a long family tradition who animates bones through a ritual called the Incant of Reanimation.
A big thumb to this module :) Never did I spend a whole afternoon sitting in front of the screen just to enjoy a great fun moule. Thanks for all the hard work and contribution to the community~ Still I would imagine the necromancer obtain the ability to animate a bone golem like the one from his grandpa :) Or may be "ingrediants" avaliale for animating zombies :) Really an enoyable moment playing the module. Looking forward to the coming one :) p.s. A pity the transporting feather did not work with hotu, but i am okay with all the walking and stuff ~

One of the most original works I have come across. Every area has the right amount of everything to keep you entertained and wanting more.

This module was fantastic! This is the first time I've experianced such a broad and 'realistic' (so far as any fantasy game can be) interpretation of evil. All of the areas truly felt unique and alive, and at first I wasn't looking forward to being 'forced' to be a necromancer but I loved the combination of the normal DD aspect of my character and the newly added necromancy features, which really give an 'edge' to playing a low level character. I think this is a must-play for anyone who has ever even considered playing a non-good character. All I can do is reiterate what others have said: "When second part?"

There's nothing better to do with a sick day than play a good, evil mod :) I was very impressed throughout with the polished feel of your module. Even though I didn't read this page, and I didn't know the Raven Feather wasn't going to work, and I couldn't fix the problem even though you've given suggestions here as to how to do it because I'm nigh computer illiterate, it didn't bother me one bit! I loved the feel of striding through that broken, cowering city and owning the streets. :) The atmosphere, the dialogue, and the attention to detail were what made this mod clearly stand out for me. Every encounter had a reason, there didn't seem to be any hint of "Gah, I made this city too big, better through some random foes in to keep the audience entertained". Excellent planning! That, and you let us be evil without forcing us to be, well, cheesy. I'm looking forward to BK2, no matter how long it takes, so long as it lives up to this standard! I'd vote an 11/10 for you if I could. :P
